Although the timescales seem like a long way off, as I said earlier, early 2021 is lightning speed in the Biotech world. It's also worth noting that the EMA and the FDA have specific accelerated programs and priority review processes for Covid-19 targetted therapies, so the usual 5 - 10 years from bench to market do not apply with Covid.

Selling to buy back at a lower price is not a great strategy at the moment given the constant newsflow and the tendency to gap up! I doubt you will be back investing here.

I agree, and it was one of my five questions they addressed in order. I was satisfied with the answers they gave.

1. The current ATM is due to expire tomorrow. Will this be extended or has the funding been secured?
2. Given the pipeline size and depth, together with the current cash burn, how long does the Company expect to run before more funding is required?
3. Will additional funding be secured by way of a deal with large Pharma (upfront payment for example)?
4. How can StemprintER approval be accelerated?
5. How will StemprintER be marketed – will an out-licensing or commercial partner be sought?

I disagree for to reasons:-

1. Directors and senior management have large tranches if shares, via share options at various prices and also via personal stakes. Why would they have no interest in improving shareholder value when they are shareholders themselves

2. The main reasons the share price is where it is currently is outside the control of the Company i) CKHH botched placing last year when they probably should have done a private off-book placing ii) geopolitical landscape etc

I believe the management of Chi-Med absolutely have a personal and professional interest in improving Shareholder value which will be borne out over the next decade. I firmly believe the market will value the Company at $20bn by 2030.

Biotechs with large pipelines need a lot of cash to push drugs through development. A typical oncology drug takes between $75-100 million to develop and get to market. Without cash there would be no development, nothing woul ever get to market and effectively no pipeline.

No one knows yet, probably even the Company doesn't know at this stage, but it will be soon

I agree, but they have many many more assets that are completely unrelated to Covid so to suggest it is just a covid play is wrong
