RE: Finally....26 Jan 2016 19:42
haha Matt, no, I did get the irony, I'll admit to being a very big fan of HCM and how they are cleverly expanding their Business by using the cash generated by the commercial division to fund the Innovation division drug development.
35% revenue growth per annum? I think that is conservative - it was 100% last year, 90% the year before, forecast to be circa 50% this year, and that is without having sold a single drug from the development pipeline.
Independent Analysts expect sales could exceed $2bn p.a by 2018, possibly even more when Savolitinib, Frquintinib and Sulfatinib get launched.
Conservative $2bn (taking into account partners) x Average price to sales of 13.51 = $27bn = £18bn so £12bn is a very conservative estimate
Now some people may say yes, but not all drug candidates will be successful and make it through Phase III to launch but the circa $2bn forecast sales is only for the top 3 candidates, there are 5 others and the Commercial platforms revenues have almost doubled in the last 3 years and are forecast to be $941m by 2018 with 50% attributable to Chi-Med
