More Director purchases notified today 2017 is going to be a very big year for the Company, probably the most important in it's history I'm looking forward to it with a great deal of enthusiasm. My wife is now also a Shareholder and has told me she will be coming to the AGM in April to make sure I don't embarrass myself ;o-/

I notice the volume of ADR's traded in the last few days is almost none, very strange

I notice our recently appointed Non-Exec Mr Eldar is yet to make a purchase though ......

indeed, I am sure Mr To knows the real value of the Company and how things will play out over the next few years.....

I note with interest that Edison are using the P/E multiple of 22.5 which is the average for the Pharmaceutical sector, however the average for the Biotech sector is considerably higher at 69 if you take a blended number across China, Europe and the U.S. As milestone payments and other revenues flow into to Innovation platform and translate into positive earnings at some point, our theoretical valuation (and hopefully one the market also gives us) could shift towards this higher P/E. Jiangsu Hengrui at a P/E of 49 seems to be a reasonable comparison for the future.

I have a view Matt but as i am no expert I'd take it with a large pinch of sodium chloride! ORR 16.4% and DCR 70.5% seem to be extremely good numbers compared to some NSCLC EGFR drugs but I may be reading that incorrectly. As you say, hopefully the imminent RNS will give lay people more of a view. Plenty of exciting news to come as we go into 2017 and beyond......

I don't really have any comments on the data as a lot of it is very technical, although I think I am beginning to understand the basics such as progression free survival and overall response rate. I suppose my main view is that our Company continues to deliver on its promises in terms of meeting the timetable of releasing data when it says it will, which is very good for Investors. We still have the following to look forward to between now and April next year: Publishing data on 4 drug candidates in 5 Phase Ib-III studies: Savolitinib Phase II data in PRCC. Epitinib Phase Ib data in NSCLC with brain metastasis. Sulfatinib Phase II data in pancreatic and extra-pancreatic NET. Fruquintinib Phase III top-line data in third-line or above colorectal cancer – potential NDA submission in mid-2017. Likely to initiate three pivotal registration trials on two further drug candidates: Savolitinib Phase III in c-Met-driven PRCC. Epitinib Phase II/III in first-line patients with EGFR-mutant NSCLC with brain metastasis. Savolitinib Phase III in combination with Tagrisso® (osimertinib) in second-line NSCLC (T790M-/c-Met+). So lots of data to come, much of which I believe will make a material difference to our valuation. It appears the market is beginning to wake up to that.

Frquintinib Phase II results presented to the conference have just landed in my Inbox - I assume there will be an RNS later today or tomorrow

good to see you nimrod, you are probably aware that the next few months and indeed years will be an extremely exciting time for the Company and where all the hard work will start to work its way through to some significant investor returns.... ;o-)

Indeed Bernie, thankyou, I did see that when it was released. Now the ADR's are back to pre-IPO levels hopefully we can make progress from here, especially as we have some critical milestones to look forward to over the next few years.....

Iam not surprised he intends to hold. The message this sends to the market is that Options purchased at 153.5p could easily be disposed of for circa 2000p but Doctor Weiguo has decided to retain them. That sends a very very strong and important message to the market which I suspect is that there is a lot more growth in value to come for patient Shareholders and the fun will begin in 2017....
