also, why arent there any sells showing on the trade list? They are all buys, but surely there should be a load of sells too?
i dont understand why it isnt going up? If it is Jupiter selling, they will still continue to sell if the price goes higher! And there seems to be plenty of takers buying them up straight away
yeah as BOJO and Scotlouie said - i must just have been lucky to time it right as it did change to 40p just after I'd bought. Mine went through at 39p
halifax went to negotiated trade for a short while yesterday too. They came back pretty quickly though to confirm my top up at 39p
certainly BOJO - its Bacanora Lithium (BCN on AIM, yes another AIM stock I'm afraid!)
have a good read through the recent RNS's just recevied further investment from Gangeng (one of the biggest lithium producers in the world) which has pushed their SP up nicely the last month. Make sure you do plent of research on then first as there are good and bad sides to this one, I was comfortable with the potential bad sides although I have just moved some profit out and now into AGL.
Message on the BCN board if you want any more info as I check in there too
came back at 39p so consider the itch scratched
I like that advice! just tried to scratch my itch but its gone to negotiated trade so cannot complete yet, wonder what they will come back with
I have some decent profit sat in one of my Lithium miners which I am very tempted to transfer across to here, but everytime I feel like clicking the button, AGL drops another 3-4-5%. Guess its all about the timing.
having said that, its been mentioned before that current SP is a bit irrelevant if you are a LTH (which I am), but this would help bring my average down to about the same as the last placing
Does anyone know what Jupitar's average buy price was? Are they offloading at a loss? (sorry for being lazy but cant seem to find their buy price so was hoping someone knew off the top of their heads)
Hi Nick,
thanks for the info, I've been following these for a while now but never invested.
Under this EIS thing, does that only apply to existing holders buying through the open offer? Or would the benefits apply to me as a new invested just buying as normal through the open market?
thanks r7632 - so that would make their average c£0.39 for their total holding then I think following their purchase of 30.9m shares at £0.25 in Nov 2019, so now in profit.
Long way for Hanwa to go to get back to level though
just out of interest, does anyone know what M&G average would be? I know they subscribed at 25p, but can remember what the size / price of their original investment
Mick - what other Li projects are you in if you dont mind saying?
I recently decided to get directly into Li car manufacturers (particularly a couple of Chinese ones), they are on a great run at the minute. all major nations across the globe seem to be heading towards banning petrol / diesel in the next 10 years or so
ps. pretty sure Gangfeng would have looked into this before taking up their 50% option in the project! Thats enough reassurance for me
this topic gets brought up every month or so. I though it was addressed in an RNS by BCN saying that any pre-existing licences would be honoured? I remember reading a fair bit about it and decided to stay put, cant remember the full reasons for doing so though to be honest so worth everyone doing their own research
i can also add my name to the 'in too early club'! DL talked a great game, which I now know, is all he can do! It was all the initial talk of Greenland from DL that got me into REM back in the bad old days. I dont even know whatever happened to Greenland, do they even still have the licence or did they relinquish it? he should have been investigated by the FCA in my opinion, just garbish and totally misleading comments that came from that mans mouth!
Anyway, I too made the switch to BCN, again a bit too early but I have managed to get my average down to a very healthy 30.39 so I am happy / relieved at the moment. Just sitting tight on these now to see what happens over the next 12-24 months
i do love it when people GUARANTEE something that they have absolutely no control over. Maybe it will go back to low 30's, maybe it wont. But whatever happens, it wont be because you have guaranteed it lol
bang in the middle of bid and ask price. Buy or Sell? What you reckon?
yeah NIO on NYSE - its my all time favourite share (at the minute haha). came as a tip at $9.4 from a mate that knows someone, that speaks to someone, that once got on a bus with someone that once lived in China, so was amazed when it literraly took off the day after I invested and its continued its upward journey since. I've took a little bit out along the way but still have the majority in as I do genuinley like the company and its been getting a lot of press coverage recently with climate change etc etc. they reckon it could be the Chinese Tesla haha.
Anyway, back to the waiting game with AGL!
haha same here, I wont have any spare cash anytime soon and cant bring myself to sell any of my NIO just yet
