I may have this totally wrong but is that where the £4 a share has come from?

Starting price £.53
100% first year = £1.06
100% 2nd year = £2.12
100% 3rd year = £4.24

So by end of sept 2023 it need to be at £4.24 to unlock their maximum options?

I’m just guessing that’s what the CAGR rate means though.

Not sure where I had the figure of £4 in my head for his options. Can’t remember if I read it on here at some point or whether he mentioned it in an interview once. Sure it got mentioned at some point but I could be wrong. £4 a share would be a great starting point for me! (But so would £2 to be fair)

Sorry for the laziness but could someone remind me what SP his options kick in at please?

Was his first big batch at £4 or am I mistaken?

I do hope Scotlouie! Santa has seriously crashed and burned the last month or so and taken all my other shares down with him!

I thought the retail offer was purely for existing holders. Must have Mis read it (or not understood it more like!)

This is getting close to Terry Top Up Territory for me! Will keep an eye on it for rest of the week and see where we are at.

Twohits - I thought the whole point of the retail offer was because they ‘valued their existing shareholder base’? So the majority of shares bought via the offer were from new holders?

‘The company values its retails investor base’ - so gives them 4 hours over tea time when everyone is logged off. Love it!

Sounds like they’ve been taking tips from the BCN board! That deal to GF has now somehow been made even worse then it originally was !

I gave up the fight a long time ago as could only see this going one way so decide me to sell up and move funds into one of my pharma stocks.

I'm afraid I have lost the stomach for the fight now and have decided to sell up. The free shares in Zin would have been nice but not sure how long I would need to wait for that so going to move the proceeds into another of my shares that I think can create more value then waiting for this to play out

Sorry guys, its just not for me anymore. been umming and arring for a while now but this has just swayed me to sell. With the Mexican's, Chinese and our BOD, its just a fight I no longer want to be part of

John - so does this revised method of takeover bid effectively prevent any chance of a rival bidder submitting a higher offer on the basis they are pretty much at the required percentage of votes for the deal to be accepted already?

I’ve been invested here for about 4 years but still very much a novice. I will probably vote against with my measly amount so won’t make any difference at all but before i do, would some kind souls care to offer a bit of clarification please:

1. I don’t quite get the deal with the Zinn shares. So if the deal goes through, do I get paid 67.5p for my BCN shares, then free shares in Zinn to hold/sell do whatever with, or do it get paid the 67.5pm for BCN plus the cash equivalent for the Zinn shares the day the deal is done? So I never actually hold any Zinn shares?
2. My small holding is via Halifax Online Trading account. To vote for or against, do I just contact them and they will cast my votes for me?

I’ve been investing on and off for about 10 years but only relatively small amounts (BCN holding is only 5,400 shares) and this is the first time any of my shares have had a takeover bid

Would be interesting to know if he does immediately sell any of those options for a very VERY tidy profit, or whether he decides to hold. Couldn’t really blame him for selling straight on to be fair.
Would we ever find out if he had sold? Don’t think he owns enough to cross notification points, but would it need disclosing as a director dealing?

Does anyone know how these options work? Has he just spent £120k on them? Or are they like a share save scheme where he has been contributing straight out of his pay packet for a couple of years?
