Does anyone know how these options work? Has he just spent £120k on them? Or are they like a share save scheme where he has been contributing straight out of his pay packet for a couple of years?
Just wondered if it was a similar scheme to what I have at work that’s all
Have I read that right that the courts found in favour of the estate on the basis that our defence was time barred?
So basically the BOD missed the legal deadline. Classic Secker missing a deadline, this one being a legal deadline! Not just one of his own made up ones
EMH up 1000% since March 2020. Looks like I backed the wrong horse here!
looks like Halifax factor their fee into the 'cost per share' so the trades werethose three at 108.98
yeah I got trades at 109.71, 109.71 and 109.94
had to do it in three trades, wouldnt let me buy more then £520 at any one time. got my top up done, cost me three fees as opposed to one but its a discounted fee day on Halifax so not too bothered.
trying to top up but gone to negotiated trade, only for £1500 worth too. Anyone else struggling to buy?
Oooh yeah I forgot about the buy back agreement.
Don’t think I can begrudge him a quick Mill I suppose
Couldn’t there have been a more discreet way of him selling such a large amount, like over a few days / weeks?
Didn’t he do something similar a few years back ? Might be more then a few years back actually but I remember him selling a load to finance a house move or something. That had a pretty detrimental effect on the SP from what i remember.
Now that the facility has lapsed, are we now back to not having the full funding in place for construction?
wish I had the slightest understanding of chart reading. I've tried to do some basic research but I just cant get it to stick in my brain.
Dont suppose anyone knows any 'charting for dummies' sites that I could have another try with as it does interest me (whether or not it helps make money is another matter)
so after years and years of playing retail shareholders like his own personal fiddle, Lenigas now wants to help us out?! Or does he have his own holding in BCN that he is wanting to look after more like!
I agree the bid needs knocking down, but cant believe for one second that Leni is doing this just to help retail investors like us!
PJT12 - I've got another british share in the process of being bought by the Chinese at rock bottom price (there is a chance it might get blocked by shareholders though!).
Just hope this doesnt happen to our AGL, I have a lot more faith in our BOD then I do on my other share (BCN for anyone who is interested)
typo!
If GF are indeed already in conversation with M&G about the purchase, I assume there is no danger of GF offering a higher price specifically to M&G to buy their shares off them is there? So they would then have enough of the share to guarantee the bid goes through, but only have to pay ABOVE 67.5p to M&G for their shares, then everyone else just gets stuck with the bid of 67.5p?
This could be a daft question, but thought I would ask as it just crossed my mind.

haha - what chance do we seriously have of them negotiating a better deal when they cant even type a two line email without ****ing it up!
I was thinking last night, if the offer is somehow rejected; where does that leave us with Gangfeng being our biggest sharehold and JV partner in the project?
Do they spit there dummies out and make it impossible going forward? I'm guessing they could make life extremely difficult for us? Could they go as far as to basically cause the project to stop so we end up running out of money and they buy the assest of liquidators even cheaper then the offer they are possibly going to make next month?
I too think the offer is dirt cheap but somehow feel like we are the weaker party in the current structure, we probably need them more then they need us right now I think.
What do others think? Am I worrying about nothing?
do takeovers always require a 75% vote in favour?
Profit of Doom - why is there no chance of another competing bid because Gangfeng have 29.9%? If another company came in and offered more then surely the remaining 70.1% of shareholders would vote for that?
Can you explain please as I have never been involved in a share that has had an offer made for it before
yeah but far fewer shares in issue at that point so you cant just compare the SP from then to the SP now
