Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
the RNS suggests its all new investment as it says the position of previous notification is 'n/a' which usually means at least below the lower notification threshold of 3% doesnt it? So they have at least increased from 2.99%?
I could be wrong on that though
Hope some of the LTH managed to benefit from the dip this morning (not me unfortunately!)
Agreed, I've waited long enough so not about to throw this one away when its at a such a pivitol point. sat in very nice profit but planning on keeping all in for the time being
they soon got snaffled up! wonder if it was MM mates rates?!
Although I've been invested here for best part of 10 years probably, I still consider myself a relatively novice investor as I only deal in relatively small trades at a time. I have however managed to build up a nice sized pot (nice size for me anyway, small fry for most) and I didnt consider CGT at all.
It was only after reading posts on here a few years back that I switched it all across to an ISA (and my other shares too that are doing well at the minute). I like this board as everyone is more then happy to help, even on off topic questions. Think it was MissBMW that first mentioned sticking in an ISA all those years ago. Could potentially save me thousands if it kicks off like we all expect it too!
the other chat board I look at for my other share is usually filled with constant bickering so I tend not to post much in there
trading 212 is great, prefer it to Freetrade I think but they dont have quite as many stocks from AIM and sometimes the trades can be a bit delayed. I like that you can buy part shares which is good for me as I'm only a relatively small time investor (generally only purchase chunks of around £500 at a time so the fee with Halifax makes it not worth doing sometimes).
hoping they get AGL onto 212 so I can keep buying little nibbles to build up
lets hope so, wonder if it will follow similar pattern to this week and rise late on?
I use Freetrade occasionally but begrudge paying £10 per month when Trading 212 still offer similar service for free. Shame AGL isnt on 212 platform yet as I would probably have bought more in smaller chunks without having to pay any fee to broker
Mr C - just wondering (and feel free to tell me to mind my one business if you like!), but do you still have your full holding in here or have you been tempted to sell at all?
MrC - hahah, does that make KDNC our evil mother in law?
probably because its nearly 150% up in last 3 months, cant continue to go on like that forever. I'm happy for it to settle down for a bit (not too long though I hope!)
£40k buy at full ask, someone’s confident!
Good luck everyone, happy new year
Certainly could be a good year for AGL. I’ve been here for years too and now just turned a profit.
Miss BMW - I had to chop my Beamer in this year for a terrible 7 seater following the arrival of my third kid the day before lockdown. Hoping AGL will allow me to upgrade to a nice 7 seater X5 in the next year or so!
Happy new year everyone
I managed one final top up first thing this morning. Cashed in some of my BCN profit to add in here. I’m done now I think as don’t want to take anymore out of any of my existing shares and don’t have any free cash at the minute
Matthew - I’m the same, although not as much up as you and doubt I have as much in as you, but I am starting to feel slightly uncomfortable about the percentage of my folio in BCN. I’m finding to very difficult to take any money out at the moment though as then trend is definitely in our favour and in do feel it still has plenty of legs.
It’s a nice dilemma to have I suppose!
haha I was going to mention that myself too. civil war lol
wowsers, full of Xmas cheer arent we?! dont come on here just to **** people off, no need!
Surely any PI who ever invests in any stock is wanting profit from it, yourself included
I also thought it was the case that they had to declare once they completed any transaction that put them above / below the threshold. Otherwise companies could potentially get away with not notifying if they were intending to purchase over the course of a number of days / weeks / months.
I could quite easily be wrong though
Bluegrass - check out Beam Global who trade on NASDAQ under BEEM), they have an awesome looking rapidly deployable charging station that specifically sits in car parking spaces.

would appear that someone is already acting on the 'business opportunity for someone to set up car parking/charging in built up areas.'
is it worth us having a Friday afternoon dream / speculation about any possible buy out price? I believe AN has some options that are only granted at around £4 arent they?
that explains my query from earlier then. makes sense now
