Wouldn't the board be obliged to declare the granting of the mining right as an RNS due to it being a major business milestone as soon as it was granted?

Don't think the market has ever really factored in BE when valuing our SP. Difficult to do so as well, there is no plan or business valuation in place yet and all we have is one test facility for Eskom. Need orders on the books to bring in buyers IMO.

Are we really expecting a constant flow of news? My frustration lies more with the fact the SP keeps getting eroded in between the news we do receive, but this is more to do with the nature of AIM and more fickle short term investors losing interest and moving on. Not deliberately wanting to take a quote out of Theresa May's book, but I don't necessarily expect a running commentary from Fortune and the board - Vanadium is being mined, processed and shipped out at a time when the price is somewhat stellar, Vametco expansion is continuing apace and the business plan of Bushveld Energy is being developed. I'm fairly happy as things stand, my only gripe would perhaps be that we haven't had much of an update on Mokopane since the infamous "imminent" statement.

Not wanting to count our chickens etc., but what sort of value could we expect to see on this transaction? IIRC Lemur/Imaloto was talked of as a "£200m project", assuming we see that kind of valuation and a dilution to 10% like Afritin, that could see a return of 18p per share to the business. Even a fraction of that being returned in a dividend would be very welcome!

I've not read "Crossing the Chasm" but the other term that gets used that I am most familiar with in terms of process and product development is the "Valley of Death". VRFBs to me seem to fit into this category, the gap between a matured technical concept and a profitable commercial proposition. VFRBs have been long proven as a concept - if Bushveld can lead the way in terms of demonstrating their applicability (eg Eskom) as well as their profitability and commercial feasibility (Electrolyte leasing), they will go a long way to cornering the market on the Next Big Thing.

Thanks Sanchez. Yes, that was my thoughts with the Q2 update - given that the numbers we are basing our investments are already comfortably in the public domain, we're not seeing anywhere approaching a fair market valuation yet. Look forward to September changing all that.

Have Bushveld ever released interim financials? Having black and white profits and EPS reflecting the impact of Vametco production will be what really sets us on our way. Given how slow the market has been to catch up I am not sure that we will have the overwhelming reaction we are expecting from Q2 production updates.

Finally given up on any pretence of a balanced portfolio and cashed in the last of my index trackers to buy into Bushveld on this dip. The 19k + 1k trades for 22.3p at 13:26 / 13:27 are mine.

We've nothing to suggest there is another fundraising imminent though. The AGM resolution was to give the board flexibility in the future and was not a statement of intent.

Wish I had more to top up on occasions like this. The board will not mindlessly dilute our holdings to the tune of 33% without a very good reason. Even then the fundamentals of the business far outweigh any effect this might have - if it ever happens at all.

The commissioning process could very well have commenced by the end of last month and take approximately 1-2 months to complete, therefore leading to expected completion by August. Do any of us know the acceptance trials and commissioning stages of a VFRB? I don't.

The benefit of the market being slow to catch on to BMN is that it gives us continued opportunities to top up our holdings at lower prices! If the rise to 24p had continued upwards I personally would not have been able to afford to get to my current holding, some way off in fact.
