Took my DWF profits yesterday in ISA. Still hold in pension. Hope you caught the bottom here CaneToad. I noticed it, but couldn't buy as already bought at 80p on way down like an amateur. Hope it makes a nice floor here now, I will add once I am in profit. I think Keystones was being pumped somewhere yesterday, perhaps that helped.

Glad to hear you are averaging down here FC, that is your only way out of this! I am expecting a poor set of results here as BVC were very quiet in FY22. Id be interested to see the cash position and an answer as to why the buy backs were such an epic fail. I see the inverse H&S, though you should have perhaps waited a little longer as the right shoulder is a bit low now. If it plays out how I think it does then we will see a double bottom. Either are strong reversal patterns, and over time this will definitely go up as the new CEO has 2% of the company as options at around 24p. Very safe bet on a 3 year outlook. Not holding currently, but looking to buy the bounce should it occur. However there are just so many better companies out there.

I would have made a really good profit here, but it took II over 1 week to add funds to my SIPP. I wanted them at £4.50.
Now I only have half as many and we back almost to £4.80. So easy to lose money if you get these things wrong. TBH, I hope it retraces some more, I hope ARBN need to sell some more, id love the rest back under 4.80. But as you say, this might take until 2025 to get going again. Like many of these companies what we need is an update to show us what the prospects are here - that probably goes for a PE buyer as well. Perhaps best not to load up just yet!

Some ones buying them today as well. I have got half of mine back at 20p cheaper. I probably had too many originally.
If further weakness I will buy a few more. Many shares I own are doing this, dropping and going back up a week later. Great if you can time it. Frustrating if you don't.

Well explained thanks. I think the smaller markets are over discounting for a recession currently. I also think Marlowe seems quite well diversified with many different businesses. To counter that I have seen a few poor sets of results from 'amalgamator' type companies, but these have been more public sector facing (eroding margins). Will buy a few at lower price, but many great companies with positive earnings are also now very cheap, Marlowe not at top of the list of buys!

Would a PE takeover suit any of the significant shareholders who I assume might have higher averages than a possible takeover. Enough of them to block a bad deal.

Dumped mine at £4.80. Not often I get it right selling before a drop. Tempted back in, but worried sell off might be a placing. Got stung on Sigmaroc exactly the same way. Nothing from the company lately either. Hmmmm. Not trying to spook anyone, but sell off seems a little odd given the broker targets are north of £8. Or it could it be Aegon selling out? If so, why? Looking at the RNS feed, no trading update expected, until FY results in June. Wow, leave us hanging.

What a guy. Do you back people like this or run a mile! 1.12p dividend = £200k for the little people (as 70% majority holder he forfeits his share), but then he needs £1.7M for working capital. That is some brass neck the man has. That is before shareholders build him a castle on his land. What a guy, would love to have him on my side!

I topped up on DWF yesterday, based on the chart. Might be worth a look - heading north today. It was heavily tipped around Christmas time (I added the write up on the chat).

Agree SB, reading your previous post about needing to hit 8p EPS, its like they have worked out that the best way to realise those options (Around 5% dilution) is to dilute shareholders 9% and buy the earnings in order to get their free shares. I am not impressed that the placing is needed either way, and it hints that current business isnt great.
I bought a few on the pullback, sorry forward selling, so will flip those and call it a day here.
I agree that shareholders are an after thought here.

It is one of the smallest on AIM by market cap, however the statistic they use is based on revenue for a regional law firm.
As I said, its only a statistic, they must have felt it was noteworthy to mention it, better than being the second largest IMO. People should read the RNS and make their own decisions. Its typical lawyer speak to caveat what largest means! But I really cant see what it matters. Where it sits in the pecking order, and in what context the other larger firms make a difference? I expect the larger ones may cost more to use? May not be in your town etc. Who knows, personally when I hired law firms the size of the company was not a factor, it came down more to personal issues as you are dealing with a person for the most part. Its a small co, and hopefully will grow bigger, hence my investment.

That probably explains it, and anyone who keeps buying this falling stock is probably paying more in terms of PE than they were at 20p. Dont shoot the messenger, check your own copies if in doubt.
