The roll out of Edgility is tiny do far, what makes you think that a giant like Vodaphone will want to be stuck with some deal negotiated by loss making city fibre? I mean really, this is so obviously the opposite of good news, it makes the only contract Telco have seem at jeopardy.

The market is full of beaten down stocks, most are bargains. Knights is no different. The debt is the main risk, but there is always going to be some risk with a growth stock. At least here, they have a revenue stream which is pretty recession proof, plus the founder has cash if needed.

@Hereshopin, its also very easy to be calm, with such large losses elsewhere. It doesnt matter the ticker name, were all down on something.

I have a very small amount here at 18 odd P. I feel totally calm about this (due to the small amount, not the company).
This is one where it is not worth worrying about the day to day. Next evaluation for me will be H1 23 results.
There is a chart on line some where about from resource discovery to a producing mine. We are in the final part of the S curve now, the capital and infrastructure is in place, it just needs to prove itself now, and start returning capital or equity growth. I think there is a good chance it will.

Large trades 3 lots of 5M, they look too big to be worked sells. Maybe a direct transfer. With 96M shares in issue, that is over 3% so might see a TR1. The debt is a little concerning here given the current backdrop, this is my second most indebted position, as well as Knights. Both companies could be accused of buying growth. If they can pull through, I think long term ill be very happy with this investment. I dont really consider MRL a small cap at £400+M

Interesting reading the recent FY report from Octopus VCT trust regarding TPX. I think they sold a few, though the report sounds fairly positive. Although to say the business is well funded is perhaps to mis-represent the situation, given the issue with the bank covenant. The VCT fund lost 27% exactly the same as the over all AIM market, although is still paying dividend taking the FY yield to about 5%. TPX Impact and Trackwise Designs were two very disappointing performers in the year. TPX Impact had been growing strongly as a result of demand from various government departments for its digital transformation expertise and the efficiencies to be gained from it. However, it was caught by a shortage of skilled technical labour which delayed contract delivery and eroded margins as it had to fill the gap with outside contractors. A new chief executive is now in charge and some of the labour pressures have eased, giving us confidence that the business can recover. Demand from customers remains good and the business is well funded.

Simon Thompson now rates this as a hold. Shore capital rein in their revenue forecast by 22% (Also mentions stripping out the 25M covid contract from the revenue forecast). Shares at 25.5p are now rated at a PE ratio of 47.5 or a cash adjusted PE of 33.

He says that it needs new contracts for the price to rise. My own opinion is that this is way over priced now. He has said in previous articles that he avoids anything with a PE of 20 or more. That could be nearly a 50% haircut from here.

Spent an hour reading the board and RNS. Putting trains and coal to one side, the SP will bottom at 18p as the people who bought MBU's shares at 18p flip them for a VWAP above 18p. MBU very clever to get them back at 15p, and also exercise some more at 30p. If you do the maths on the CLN conversion, MBU average share price from conversion is 18.4p
Market wouldn't support selling all of these at 18.4p now, so ergo the price must go up. Means any shares bought around 18p or lower are safer than shares owned by MBU. Although that doesn't average those 18.4p shares to their existing holding, but I think MBU will get their money back on those CLN's easily. If Adam is going to start pumping or should I say Roasting, tells you the price will also rise. Bought a few (not many due to funds) but throwing all the bearish chart rhetoric on the other board out, plus the gap has been filled as JH points out, seems a good buying opportunity to me. Would have bought more if I had more funds, still think BENs is dodgier than Birmingham boot sale, but this is simple economics based on MBU being very clever.

I expect they are independent from TPX and buy on set dates etc, I dont read anything in to the purchase.
I am positioned for a recovery here, however it needs to happen. I am not taken it as a given that the bank will just offer a waiver. There might be some capital needed here, but even so I dont think it will be possible to buy in the market at 28p or less for very long.

How is this trade working out for you Maqsood. Have you folded your hand yet. Didn't quite work out how you were posting back in January did it.

Hard to work out what is going on here, other than the market makers / sellers made a false bottom, trapped a load of people in at 20p. I suspect there isnt much stock at this price, but there also are not many buyers. Maybe its traders folding their hands. I missed a good trade this week with my trading pot holding TLY (at 18.30 thought it would be easy to get out!). Oh well. Totally locked in now. I am still optimistic the budget could give TLY a boost if OC health is subsidised for employers. Also, a further point, it is possible that the board will buy more shares after the new tax year.
