Th 'New' Iron redox technology, may be slightly better, who knows. But the key thing here is that the article is about researchers, who have demonstrated this technology at a university. One of the reasons that I invested here yesterday is that IES actually have a product that you could buy right now. Maybe in time, they might want to adopt this new technology too, but its probably a few years down the road. The article is good that it is furthering the field and appeal of these flow batteries (Which have been around a long time). Lets hope that IES can make these flow batteries far more a common choice for installations and start to realise some sales.

Ha ha, no I should of written £1.15, just a mistake. As its those last few pennies that change throughout the day, I was focused on the 15p part of the entry price. Lol.

Been in SMDS for over 18 months now. Remember the heady heights of £3.90. Sold out yesterday at a loss, already up else where. See this languishing around 2.80 for quite a while. Will buy back in at some point, hopefully I can time it well to be up from the trade. Cant see any incentive to be invested here at the moment.

Very happy that I managed to buy in today at 15.5 p. Hope this is the start of building a substantial position here. No doubt about the company and the technology, just a case of waiting for the sales now.

Although the price has ticked up Thursday and Friday, on both days far more was sold than bought. What do these II's know?

I sold out Thursday, as I strongly suspected I could get back in at a lower price. Not sure I want to now.

I was looking at the SP running up to the 14th. When Spreadex finished buying their position. Interesting that was the day of the £1.10 spike. I dont see any large buys over the previous days. They acquired 1.8 million right? Was just trying to estimate what price the new shares were to them? On the 12th sp was 82p, 13th 77p, 14th 70p (Aprox).

Someone wants rid of a lot of these shares. Even though the price is up today, there is still more selling than buying. I want to buy back in as sold out half my holding when I saw it was going down. But I dont think it has turned yet. Makes no sense to me, other than I think money is leaving the market and this is not necessarily a reflection on Hikma?

LawrenceH, that is laughable. 'Safest investment of our time'. The guy is conducting a feasibility study with a view to extracting Lithium (after raising more funds) in what 5 years?. All this talk of EV demand increasing, yes its great for Lithium as a whole, but I feel like I am missing something here, we are not a producer as far as I know. Such a long ahead, winding through AIM country. This still feels very speculative to me.

Cant assume the 77k buy will be sold tomorrow. It was not possible to profit today from Friday.

I will also share this: I worked for a multi millionaire, and when we discussed the stock market, he had little input on his investment. His wealth was managed by someone else. (id like to think my portfolio is probably up in % over his since C.V. Lol).

Similar issues being discussed over at HGM too. Gold now being (forced?) back under 1800. Both companies seem to drop easy on the downward gold movement. Ftse lost 100 points in last 30 mins. All round not a great day. I sold a little poly at 1600 yesterday for some foolish endeavour, but looks like I may get them back tomorrow under 16, may help make up some of the foolishness.

It seems that POLY and HGM are both trading a bit lower than one would expect. I also hold CEY and that seems stuck too. I am not reading much in to the individual buying and selling. My own view is that money is leaving the wider market. Ftse gone down all week. Gold rising not helped us much (yet). If the index falls, this will just fall less, even if results are good.

Anyone who bought in yesterday is now in the red.

Managed to free up some capital and bought at 21.89.

Defies sense this one. Would have thought £23 was the minimum this should be worth by virtue of the placing shares and the buy back. All I can say is that I am glad to still be able to buy i at low £22's. Desperately hoping I can take some profit somewhere else before this chance is gone.

Hopefully they dont join the club and scrap the dividend.
