Yep, Im up around 8% currently on quite a large investment. The dividend must be paid soon too (21st Sept?).
Also impressive when compared to the index which went down while most of this rise happened.

Also very encouraging recently some of the brokers upgrades:

I see this exceeding 2700p

So many covid stocks are like this. Genedrive is the same, no news since June. Think you have to bear in mind that this is all new. New tech, new business to find, new approvals. Its not the same as striking oil or gold. I am frustrated too, but fortunately in both cases I have only invested a small punt. It is exactly that. What I have learnt from Genedrive, is that 5 months later, someone buying in is in a better position than I am - lower average and surly less time to wait. This could well be the same. Slight hint of news and then something unpleasant (placing?) and more waiting. If it does do well, I think there will be a lot of chances to buy in. realistically holding now, is only missing the first bump on news. That may only be less than 10p rise. If they get a huge contract, then buying in at 40 or 50p might be a better entry. (risk to reward).

I am not trying to talk anyone out of being invested, but if you think its going to keep sinking, why not sell and buy back. I should have done this with ROCK. down over 50% there now (and saw it coming). As i said, my strategy on these aim stocks is to start with a small punt. if it goes well add. By this time you are invested i.e. knowledgeable about the company. If it dont go well, thats the cost of doing business. There will be plenty more tin pot outfits to spunk your money on.

Ha ha, that is funny. Back in February no one gave a sht about any of this. I doubt the government would have or could have been as organised as you would like to think. I do take your point, but its funny what you wrote, when you think back to February. I had trouble convincing people I worked with this was going to be a problem at all. Lols.

Good post Bumbler, but I dont think labs will discriminate or prioritise one lot of work over another. Im sure SYM's money is as good as anyone elses. Just my opinion. There must also be a few outfits getting in on the laboratory work available too. Free market an all. If anything, i think sales (rather than approvals) might be the hurdle for this company.

Have a read of this thread! Morrisons is a poor investment. Been trading sideways for 12 months now. There is no margin in supermarket retail. Glad I sold out in March (albeit with losses). I had the colour right - yellow, but its gold not supermarkets that makes money fool!

I was just wondering what results are being discussed in this thread? I checked a few RNS and found this in the trading update:

The Group expects to announce its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2020 in September 2020.

If those are the results, then they wont tell us much will they? I dont think what has happened up to June is of much interest. We want to know what has happened in July / August.. etc.

While I am happy to be invested, and sure that at some point we will get an announcement, until then we just have to wait. This feels a bit like Genedrive which we are also waiting for sales and approvals. Another board i dont really read. However both have strong reasons 'not to worry'. I think for Symphony I am encouraged that they are doing a good volume of gloves and masks etc aside from the tec we are waiting for. Though I dont know if that alone will justify the current mcap.

Even though im down a bit, I dont feel locked in. This is AIM!

Was seriously considering buying more at £18.94 this morning. No idea why I didnt, would have been in profit by lunchtime.

Any thoughts on the share price, now that we have closed below £2.00. Dont think its been below £2.00 since late July.

These VF batteries are only really suitable for major infrastructure projects due to weight and size and complexity and ultimately £ cost of the technology. Each of their batteries is in excess of 10 tons (bearing in mind it must be filled with liquid). They would need a substantial concrete foundation to be cited on, access for cranes and heavy plant to deliver them. The storage market will be huge, but most of the market will be for smaller stuff, i.e. portable, residential, commercial etc. IES customers will likely be governments, national infrastructure (what ever the country). No idea what competition they have, cant be the only ones offering these systems. No longer invested, but thought id mention this as someone who works in energy storage with an understanding of the technology.

I doubt he is twiddling his thumbs but he may be ****ing in the wind. Either of these actions would appear to yield the same result, results he cant tell you for some reason... (still invested, just totally bored with it now).

Wow, look at the trades that got printed tonight. I think in some cases large trades get broken down, but only print once they are complete. Look at that, 52 million from May and 54 Million from July. Is this probably due to the placings that occurred around these dates - perhaps the 12 and 15 million printed? Cant say I understand all of this, but it does correlate with those events and may explain the turbulence recently, and also may explain that the turbulence is now over. I personally have not seen a trade be printed so late after the start date. I always check the trades each night, as I find the after hours trades infer a lot for coming days. Thought it was worth pasting them as they will be gone by the time most people check this BB.

mapp, first lesson of investing, never invest just on someone else advice especially from a bulletin board. If you had reached the decision to invest in Rock yourself, then you would know if the reasons to be invested were still valid. Your posts implying that this guy duped many people is ridiculous. (I have never heard of him so not sticking up for him). You need to charter your own course not someone elses.

Cazbraz, it makes sense to me to start exercising these warrants now. There are so many of them (34.5 million) that it seems like they may as well start selling them. You could say they should wait for a higher price, but as a percentage, it seems 50% gain buying at 1p and selling at 1.5p. The third tranche today, notice it is only £16k of shares. So its just like dipping in to the infinite supply of warrants and turning 16k in to 24k. As you said, if all the warrants must be bought when we hit 2p, maybe doing this makes it affordable for the buyer to buy them all after the assays. I think we will keep seeing more and more of this. I am actually waiting for sub 1.5p to top up, I really think it is coming. Currently my buy price is 2p as i got spiked like everyone else early on.

Sold out, but will keep reading posts on here. Even if the company does get some orders, it would still have a way to go to turn a profit.
