Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Because it’s not concluded and still in progress. I’m sure they’ll provide some update in the Q2 update, but in any case until it’s at a final point I.e approved (likely) or unapproved with no way forwards (unlikely) then nothing has changed so no obligation to update.
Hardly surprising. Most weekends are quiet on here, plus there was a national distraction and the suns shining - and like I said, the twitter group was as busy as ever - mostly the same regular posters that are on here. Do you have any response to my post? Or are you just another BT, with a negative narrative that prefers to make comments that add no value?
Agreement has been rejected largely on technicalities. 1. Dates are wrong 2. Who can approve buying and selling land in the licensed area 3. Who’s responsible for getting HUM offices - basically get your own and 4. HUM need to give more for social projects. HUM not concerned and expect it to be resolved swiftly. On a positive note, HUM have been tweeting the camp in Dugbe - so very obviously there is activity there, and given that HUM have publically said its too big for them to deliver - so want a JV or s sale - I’m voting that they are working with s partner doing due diligence. I’m pretty confident we are going to get a blinding RNS announcing some sort of commercial deal before the end of this year.
Report it as a problem, I have. The more that do it the more chance they might take action. http://m.lse.co.uk/report-a-problem.asp
So much easier to read this board and the more constructive posts, when the thread is interspersed with the odd line that just says “This message has been filtered, please adjust your filters to view”. Only reserved for one individual, I strongly recommend it. Without the attention he/she so desperately craves, this line of text might disappear all together.
To add, I don’t want a divi if HUM have the opportunity to spend money adding value. I’d not be happy if HUM missed a deal because they had promised cash for a divi. Plenty of time for that when they are generating cash off a bigger footprint.
At this stage Dan has been pretty clear on how cash will be used. 15% for exploration and the rest will fund - the right - acquisitions or mergers to expand HUMs portfolio, if no acquisition materialises it will be returned to shareholders. In addition the share buy back - now approved in principle at the AGM, and subject to a couple of months of legal process will be used to support an increase in shareholder value. M&A activity is highly secretive, and time consuming. It’s also one of the reasons - along with other insider knowledge - why we have seen no Director buys, Bert confirmed they’ve pretty much been in a closed period all year. Dugbe is also on the cusp of having a restructured agreement with the Liberian government, which will vastly increase its attractiveness for sale or JV. Corporate strategies are not colour by numbers, but what HUM has outlined is pretty thorough IMHO
Have you also given up on the carp “new” iii forum?! Good to have another sensible poster on LSE. Unfortunately we’ve got the odd idiot on here that post conspiracy theories without substance. They’ll be along shortly no doubt....
BT. Genuine question. If you are so dispondent on HUM and you really believe there are better investments? Why on earth do you continue to hold - you comment on others being emotional, but you appear to be letting your heart rule here if you are still holding despite your concerns.
Transglobe has 72.205m shares in issue, and a current SP of $3.20 CAD = $231m CAD = £131m. Their latest update is worth a read. I already hold these and expect them to easily double from here, despite the recent rise. I also wondered if they might be a target for merger/acquisition with SDX as they operate in similar areas. Which is why I asked if there was a size limit to potential acquisitions on the recent SDX conference call. https://www.trans-globe.com/news/release?id=2176182

This has already been raised. HUM believe that their current production volumes put them outside of the size that majors would be interested in - but Dalradian just goes to show that you don’t even need to be producing. I’m of the opinion we need to extend the LOM before we become a real target, if the SP hasn’t moved to protect HUM at that point, then a takeover becomes a very real scenario. In either case the SP ends up north of here.
