Shadypants - do you also know that cineworld idea of making money is to offer free popcorn and drinks to premium customers? How many customers have premium pre paid tickets now?

Do the math and that kind of approach isn’t going to cut it and get customers back in…. Which when they’ve been locked down for 2 years is the critical thing to do.

Odeon and Vue have dropped ticket prices and customers have flooded back.

If cineworld had done this they would have done well enough to keep themselves above water.

Shadypants - Not dropping ticket prices is one of their issues a very big one along with being overly aggressive in expanding their business.

As a businessman myself I know it’s always prudent to clear any debts before expanding your business.

STX is in a much better position than cineworld which could easily go bust any day now.

I totally agree STX needs cash to get past q4 2022 I’ve said this many times but comparing STX to cineworld is mad.

Cineworld made it hard for themselves not dropping tickets prices like every other big cinema chain did.

I personally think electric cars are the flavour of the moment. No way are they as green as made out plus infrastructure needs to be majorly overhauled to support the requirements yet alone we as a society need to be adopting green energy sources at an astronomical rate, plus not everyone has the ability to charge a car at home. Battery technology is ****e and charging rates are rubbish. Plus I’m the uk any incentive from the government to buy an electric car is none existent.

Hydrogen is and will be the future of transport industry. Hydrogen plugs in to our existing way of life as in we can get to the supermarket and fill up and drive for hundreds of miles. More research is needed yes I get that but some of the big manufacturers are making headway in that area. Plus I don’t buy the excuse that hydrogen production is energy intensive. Like some of our other energy sources are not and besides hydrogen has no bad or environmentally damaging waste.

Cineworld has 9bn debt you muppet. Plus they haven’t dropped ticket prices like almost all other cinema chains did since cinemas reopened. Cineworld made a rod for their own backs by not dropping prices, no wonder their customers haven’t flooded back. My local cinema has been doing half price since reopening and it’s constantly rammed.

So from what I can tell cenkos can activate the warrants from 25th august 2022 upto 5 years. So maybe we won’t see any big price increases soon.

Either way when and if things start coming together we should see big sp movements.

In connection with the appointment of Cenkos, the Company has granted Cenkos with a warrant over 3,902,949 ordinary shares in the Company exercisable at price of 22p, being the closing mid-price on 24 August 2021 ("Warrants"). The Warrants are exercisable in whole or in part for the period commencing 12 months after the commencement of their engagement and ending 60 months after their engagement.

Maybe I’m not reading that correctly but the way I see it is they are executable from 25th August 2022!

No one is even talking about the cenkos warrants soon to be up Friday 25th august!

Cenkos are not going to want to exercise warrants when the sp is at 12p when there warrants are for 22p.

Hence maybe we see some significant movement in the next ten days!
