10:1 consolidation means 900% up, not 1000%.

You'd think, given the incredible pricing of the new crop of electric assisted road and mountain bikes, that all brands would want to invest in some sort of tracking device. Or at least their consumers would want this - and it's far better to have that baked into the internals of the bike rather than added on as an aftermarket solution.

My understanding of Beacon is that the 'real-time' element isn't shipment specific but is vessel specific. In the same way your individual parcels are shown as tracked by DHL ("your delivery is no. 65 and driver is currently at 24" - all shown on a real-time map).

That's not to say that they added security and true real-time/real location tech isn't required by a sector of this market. That sector must still be huge - but i don't think it'll be your day-to-day container shipments of homeware etc. that the article, in part, refers to.

They are currently advertising for a new Strategic Accounts Director for the European business - the advert states that this is EXPANSION rather than replacement. Happy to hold here.
