Longtime. Buy backs depress the sp (market cap) because they have to be paid for, but at the same time add to the sp by reducing the shares in circulation, so it roughly balances out. Narcus. I agree with you. But buy backs are complex. Many shares are are cancelled & some used for other things. I think Fleccy knows what he is talking about on this matter.

Mikey clearly is obsessed with calling me a God, & a guru. I am of course neither & never have claimed to be. I hold a lot of vod shares, & like to be positive as opposed to being negative. I don't know why some of you have a problem with that, so sorry if you do, but I will continue to be positive about vod & critical of those who are negative for the sake of it. The vod sp goes up & down all the time, so no point moaning every time it falls. Good luck to all positive vod shareholders, but not cynical moaners.
