Sovereign. The interim divi paid in feb' is predicted to be 1.87p, so to work out the yearly divi, double it. So =3.74p that is assuming the final divi in august will be the same. Share price of 66.50p. 66.50 devided by 3.74 =17.8. 100 devided by 17.8 = 5.62% divi. 66.50 x 5.62 = 3.74p. You could just google the answer, or just work it out roughly in you head.

Buy backs reduce the number of shares in circulation so increase the sp, but they have to be paid for out of the market cap, so that reduces the sp. So the sp will remain about the same. Buy backs are complex, so best left to the B.O.D. to decide. If the sp rises after the buy backs then the buy backs are good, but if it falls then not good. Some buy backs are mandatory though. Whether it is better to buy back shares rather than pay off deb't depends on the % rate paid on the deb't compared to the return on the shares bought back. Best left to the vod accountants to work that one out, unless you think mole-man knows better?

I don't get your point, apart from the usual hindsight drop in s/p. Come on rob, you are above all this crap?
