robleo. I probably should have explained that I have been retired for about 5 years, so I am not contributing to a pension. I think SIPPS are very dodgy, but I was very lucky to have had very good pensions, nothing to do with sipps. I have only invested, tax free pension money, in the stock market, on top of many other cash investments over the years. As for your holiday, if you stay invested in vod, then I think you will, But, & a big But, keep an eye on your expenses. Don't hold vod in an I.S.A.if there is a charge. Move to somewhere that doesn't charge. It all mounts up. Of course some smart aleck might say, don't buy vod in the 1st place! to which I reply ************** Its too late now!

I don't know if you use an I.S.A. for your shares, but I use this site, London South East Trading, who have no charge for an I.S.A. & 9.95 per deal even if you only trade rarely. My divi came in on time as well. I've' used many brokers,including stock trade. Hargreaves are very good, but I think they charge for an I.S.A. so not cost effective. Yankee doodle dandy, No more Trump. Things are looking up.

Hi nascus. I was surprised the vod sp being down this morning, but with respect you do seem to think that we can easily predict the sp movement. If we all could there wouldn't be a stock market , the same as ,you would not be able back a horse, if we all new the result before the the race started. Hot favourite's get beat in horse races, so don't think share sp's always do what they should do. Of course there is also a long gap between the nas close & the L.S.E. open when sentiment can change. Still let's hope what goes down, must go back up?
