MaryBr I think if Travel is back on the agenda, it could be good for vod, RE: roaming charges? What's dragging it down I think, is the low valuation of the towers? Hopefully the valuation is going to be higher.

Hi mole_man. I am not one to be negative, but many on here are asking why isn't the sp going up with the good news? What good news? I was expecting a 20bn valuation, not 15bn, so that isn't good. mole_man Thanks for replying. I just think that, just because a company is losing money it is not always down to bad management. Tui are losing a fortune at the moment, which has nothing to do with bad management. To always blame management is just a cop out. Whether vod will do better in future depends on many factors, not just management. If vod had, had different management over the years, how do you know vod wouldn't have done worse? I think with what was known at the time, the liberty deal was the right one. As for the debt, that is very difficult. If a company needs to borrow to survive in a highly competitive market, then it may be, that it has no choice. With debt, comes risk. Real wisdom comes without the benefit of hindsight, just a bit of modesty!!

mole_man. We all regret with hindsight selling our verizon shares, but most thought the liberty deal was a good idea at the time, but that was pre covid & things have changed a lot since then surely? Before you say bad management, you have to say what you would have done differently without being able to see into the future. Just complaining is completely pointless surely. I don't think anybody on here has anything concrete, just there opinion. If the tower float does well & the tower sp takes off, then the vod sp should follow & vice versa if the tower sp falls. I don't think anybody knows which way it will go,but I think the general opinion is very positive, which I agree with. It is a gamble of course, then covid is going to play A big part as well. Get out there & have your jab as soon as you can, that will help I think, I had mine on Saturday. Good luck. I hate selling a share, for it to take off afterwards, even worse than buying,& then it falls! So hold on is my view.
