Trader. What has the B.T. C.E.O. done then, apart from ax the divi, & pay off some of there massive pension short fall. What do you want Nick Read to do? Wave a magic wand? Historically, B.T. shares peaked at about £8. vod shares peaked at about £4, plus vod have paid out more in divi's!! Perhaps that means vod have performed better?

Trader, £2 next year? Now steady, don't get to exited?

Mikey, How do you know Nick Read will come out & say something the markets don't like? Where do you get this info from. Have you been sneaking into the board room again to get some inside info? Or are you just being your normal negative self?

PFen. You say some may need glasses, What are these glasses you refer to then, that can predict the sp movement tomorrow? We all know the vod sp has done badly in the past, but it's only the future that I am interested in! So can you get me a pair of these crystal ball glasses please?

trader uk..Sounds like you are new to this forum then? mole_man is our resident negative poster on here. Some may say he gives a balanced view?! I prefer someone who doesn't hold vod shares to have a negative view, than someone who does hold, but has a negative view. Which one is the idiot?

What a load of nonsense. It's blindingly obvious that vod & all telecom co's face big competition problems. Nick is doing the best he can. Of course he earns a lot of money, but it's peanuts compared to vods value. Stop moaning, support your bod & move on. Hopefully we can see a big rise in the vod s.p. over the coming weeks? But only if shareholders have confidence in the B.O.D. & stop bloody moaning!!! Why compare vod to tesla, total nonsense.

Divi rise. Sorry, I meant a rise of 0.2 cents = 4.7 cents.

robleo. At least we agree on that one. When the vod sp was over £2, I used to post saying I hope the price rises, but there was a guy who said he preferred the sp to fall, so he could re invest his divi's at a lower price. He gave up posting in end, as I think he realised the folly of his wishes. He seemed quite clever as well, so I think it is a certain mind set, of, " I know better that the market does". Of course me & you just hope we know better than the market does, a big difference! . . I am however, confident the results will be good, the sp will rise,& I think the divi will rise by about 2 cents. There is of course no doubt vod has performed very badly since the sp was well over £2, but I think the future looks good. Get those drinks chilled for Tuesday!!

I think vodafone are probably now very shrewd, the economic madness I referred was anybody who owns vod shares, but doesn't want the sp to rise. ____ Can I assume you didn't work for vod when they bought Mannesman , as I think that turned out to be a disaster, but that's history of course. I think the future is good, but we need the sp to go up, the sooner the better.
