You said "If that many shares were sold with no buyers, the sp would be below £1" But there was a buyer & they bought 10% of the company, so that is why it is not only not below £1, but hopefully tomorrow way above that? They were buying, & the de- rampers were .selling? Sorry mate, but come on?

My point about narcus saying Nick Read must be quaking in his boots, was that he made the comment after the latest, possible good news, not before which would make more sense of course? which seemed strange, so I wondered if he meant there was a threat of the Arabs taking over vod & putting him out of a job? Of course it would be nice if narcus would answer that directly? As for your 2nd point, they have already bought a 9.8% stake in vodafone. I don't know if some of you don't have access to the share news on this site, but if states this fact quite clearly. The fact that the sp has fallen simply means there are more sellers than buyers, but for every share that is sold, someone is buying it, & as there has been far more than the 9.8% stake in vod sold (total, not net sells) since they have been stake building, they have just been buying some of them? It's not rocket science is it? Thanks again though for your post. & no disrespect to Narcus. Far better to question than just moan? Happy Mondays? We hope.

Hi robleo. Well this is fun, 2 in 1 week. Almost as exciting as the Eurovision song contest?! I really don't know what will happen tomorrow, but I am feeling positive (no surprises there then). I will go 1.27 tomorrow & 1.29 for Friday. If it does all go tits up though, perhaps you would like to take bets on Nick Read getting the sack? Cheers.

Cheapsharesboy. It's nice to see someone has got the balls on here to speak out as you have instead of just hitting the filter button, but I fear you may be just wasting your time. I will wait until Monday before commenting on all the sack Nick Read hysteria of late, but if things do improve significantly some humility would be good? as for my opinion on Nick Read I will repeat, I don't know if he should be replaced because I don't do Ill informed knee jerk reactions. As I have said many times, who should replace him, no good sacking him,unless he is replaced by someone better? New Sid. So who is this C.E.O. with the potential to turn vodafone around. Many complain Nick Read is well over paid, but I assume if this new C.E.O. is that good he would want even more.

Thank you for your opinions, But not one of you has answered my question, who should replace him. Bob the builder was one suggestion? & as for why am I supporting this guy? because none of you can come up with an alternative apart from Bob the builder. I think that, if to replace Nick Read is the correct thing to do, this kangaroo court forum is probably not the best place to decide it? I will repeat, there are many reasons why vod is underperforming, but sacking Nick Read is unlikely to change that , in my opinion.

Thank's for all your comments, but can you please tell me who should replace Nick Read? I am sure it costs a lot to replace the C.E.O. of a company like vodafone. Why do you think that a new C.E.O. would do a better job. Surely you all realise that vodafone's problems are complex. Competition is a big problem, & merging is proving to be very difficult. If Mikey has finally worked out how to use the filter, perhaps someone could point out to him that a chip on your shoulder refers to a chip of wood, not a granite brick, so more easy to remove? O.k.
