Hello fleccy. Surely the question is why didn't the sp climb towards 1.30 on the Monday,after the Etisalat announcement, as many on here predicted? Perhaps it needed to be thought about for a while, & also are investors starting to think that Nick Read is the right man for the job after all ? I certainly hope so. Some more stake building going on as well perhaps?

I am looking at 133 before ex divi day to sell only about 3% of my holding for divi tax reasons, so no big deal, but I paid 131, so a very small profit after transferring from non I.S.A. to I.S.A. but I save tax on the divi. as well. I think (hope) soton will win on Friday, come on soton. £1.33 by Tuesday will do me. (unlikely) I guess? Call out the instigator!! we've got to get together sooner or later?! & you know It's right?

Vod bought back about 24 million shares last week at about £1.19 average, so at the current price of 1.26, a nice paper profit of about £1.68 million , peanuts to vod, but not bad?
