Hi rob, Well I hope you are wrong about Compound having a dig at me, & I will give him the benefit of the doubt. But if it was, then that would just prove what a pompous know it all he is, (sorry to compound if it wasn't), as all I have ever done is to be honest about my investment, & I am certainly not bitter & twisted. Unfortunately there are some who you cant be honest with, as they just abuse it. Great to have someone like you on here though. Cheers mate.

Thank's fleccy, & robleo, but I think we all know what a sad, spiteful person Mikey is by now, so best ignored. As for me losing money, there are some people in life who when they lose money accept it & move on, & some who just complain about it & don't move on. ----- That was a big sudden drop today though, not sure what caused it, any ideas anybody? Good luck to all vod share holders. You can still win by Friday rob, I hope so.

Robina all you are telling me is you don't have any more idea than I do. The up & down pattern is with hindsight. No good for the future. Stop blaming sods law all the time. The odds are against you making money trading in & out of vod,or any other share. The if only I had done that, way of thinking will never work. But good luck though,because that is what you need, but from what you say, you are not very lucky,are you? Why do you always think, whatever you do, the opposite will happen? makes you sound like a loser? The reason you lose is because of the dealing charges, which you have to be very clever to overcome. They may seem small,but they sure add up.

Hello Robina. You say with the right timing it would seem better to buy low, & sell high? Sorry but surely that is just stating the blindingly obvious isn't it? I don't want to appear negative (because if I do I will be obliged to have a go at myself!?) But the dividend cover is about 0.8. not about 1.25 as has been suggested by some, 1.25 is the reverse divi cover, so the opposite.

I agree t.c. but the problem at the moment is the divi yield is less than inflation, so some growth needed as well? Not to mention the possibility of a divi cut, but as I said, don't mention that?! I did, but I think I got away with it?! Basil!!
