Welcome back Greg25. Long time no hear. GLA, Dan
Just for some info. I took this from the RNS on 31/8/21 at GDP;
'Goldplat has received 103,846,154 shares in Caracal (representing 7.17% of its issued share capital) as consideration for the sale of Kilimapesa, to be held for minimum of 12 months. In addition, the Group is due to receive a further cash payment of USD450,000 in the next two weeks and is also entitled to a 1% net smelter royalty, limited to USD1,500,000, of which circa USD14,000 is already payable.'
The further cash payment of USD450,000 was taken in shares (GDP RNS of 1/3/22). GLA, Dan
Info is also on pg6 of GCAT's prospectus (under corporate documents).
@ID78 - no I am not a chemical engineer, I do have a chemistry degree though but that is not much use when it comes to mining. The heap leach was mentioned in RNS 11/4/22 and has a 60 day cycle. I think you may be right on the lag within the heap leach process which is still at an early stage (guessing that it may need several cycles before it becomes more efficient), you are also right that there are too many unknowns to make accurate assessments.
Interesting link to Goldplat (GDP) with our G K-G. They make their money from gold/PGM recovery of mining waste. A certain amount of gold will never be recovered by our process, it will be left in -situ (attached to the carbon ?).
@Bebeto - yep, most I could get to was about £6M (assuming 1050 oz Q3 and 1500 oz Q4 . I used a generous £1400/oz). Perhaps , for me at least, it explains the current low mcap. GLA, Dan
could be clearer too. We sometimes see gold sales or gold produced. Comparing GCAT to SHG is interesting particularly the way they report their results e.g. Q3 results for SHG (given on 26th Oct) show 217108t milled at an average grade of 3.18g/t with 88.0% recovery which gives 19536oz (a gold ounce being 31.1gs). SHG quoted 19532oz in their RNS, so pretty much as they said if you do the maths. Now try that with GCAT Q2 results. If you use the following from their RNS;
'A total of 58,722 tons were processed through the plants for gold production of 746 oz of gold during the quarter (1,266 oz Au in Q1 2022) down but in line with the strategic plan.'
746oz equals 23200.6 gs, divide by tons and I get a gold grade of approx. 0.40 g/t. Recoveries quoted as 49% would give gold grade 0.8 g/t.
Then from Q1 RNS;
'54,121t of ore (versus 51,732 tons in Q4'21) was processed at an average grade of 1.75g/t Au, resulting in gold sales of.1,226 ounces - an increase of 17% on the previous quarter sales of 1,047 ounces in Q4 2021.'
No % recovery quoted and mentions sales of 1226 ozs (38128.6gs). So, 54121 x 1.75 = 94712 gs or 3045.4 ozs (at 100% recovery). This suggests approx. 40% recovery.
Is it deliberately confusing or is this down to the commissioning / setting up of the HL pads etc ? GLA, Dan
Surely there is no argument. It is all evidenced on their twitter feed with RM telling the world (used loosely lol) they are fully funded for expansion and, as he corrected himself, money has been raised. Just be nice to know how much, in the form of an RNS perhaps. I have not received a reply from their email route (on a different matter though) and wondered if anyone else has had replies in the past using their info@ email address. GLA, Dan
Goldplat, our known, regular big seller. I calculated, very roughly, 14.3M sold by Goldplat this time. The big sell, 9.25M, on Friday could be one of theirs and maybe the 2.75M on Wed. No concerns. GLA, Dan
thought that was odd too Suggins. Was all the other stuff (countries/commodities) part of RM's previous employment history or just an admin error on the part of 121 ? . GLA, Dan
it is frustrating tony_currie, even if you are a producer and selling the gold with a larger resource than Cora, you can still have an mcap of only £13M. Would probably be a different story if it was in Aus. GLA, Dan
slight correction Bebeto - Kefi has not had sign off, just approved by the various stake holders. Sign off there is expected by next month. GLA, Dan
ok, producing 500oz / pm currently, nice he corrected 'the money we are raising' to 'the money we have raised' and another project - intriguing . Kind of expecting Q3 results next week (1050 - 1500 oz produced/sold as a guess) and perhaps one confirming this 'money raised'. All ok so far, now for a glass of red. GLA, Dan
Guess this was just a sales pitch to get investors interested in funding their operations ? i.e. nothing for us to get excited about. GLA, Dan
Yes. The current directors stay and the requisitioning directors have not been voted in. Dan

Probably been mentioned before (posts gone missing?) but what is with all these late reported trades e.g the one for £180k ? These are pretty huge. GLA, Dan
Certainly not me. Started buying beginning of Oct 21. Highest price I paid was 1.86p !? Average now 1.07p with a modest 1.6M shares. GLA, Dan
from a dummy sell of 600k shares I got a price quote of 0.586p from HL. A dummy small buy of 50k shares (got no funds yet) and was quoted a price of 0.6185p. Not sure that helps much, but just for info. GLA, Dan
Not seen any posts from Greg25 since Aug. Anyone heard anything ? Provided some good posts and maybe/perhaps some optimistic SP predictions. Would love the 5p by year end but time seems to have run out for that to happen. GLA, Dan
Just another small one at 0.6167p for 100k shares. GLA, Dan
So that I understand this correctly, has RMM just received ca.£5.25M from the forward sale? That is, they have over half their mcap in cash and can pay the monthly debt owed and continue with their cost saving strategy and more importantly readmit to trading with no dilution necessary ? GLA, Dan
considering this only went live at 12:30 (2pm if you are with HL lol) does it seem like there was some good volume today ? GLA, Dan
