not sure what calculator you are using Taskroll, lol. It would be impossible with the current production levels. GLA, Dan
or more as it turns out, doh. Sorry for the incorrect info in my post of 21/1/23. I do know that there is an RNS being written by AB - info provided by JMK. I will know not to provide dates in future. GLA, Dan
There has already been more than 500M shares traded this morning. People seem to hate placings - if only PUR and RMM did that when they had the chance before the financial mess they are in now. GLA, Dan
cheers Palmer944. GLA, Dan
nope, just takes me to their website. fca one no use either. GLA, Dan
any ideas of how to find it on their website ? Thanks in advance. GLA, Dan
around $30-$50/ct according to wiki Marange diamond fields. VAST don't know the quality of the parcel yet. GLA, Dan
potentially libellous/defamatory language used by Tom towards GCAT. Surely tweeting in that way is a little dangerous ?
care to elaborate bunsenburner123 ?
@Highveld - you mean SHG (Shanta gold) ? Is a good shout as is THX (West Africa and not to be confused with thor energy plc). My approx. £5K here is not going to go very far with those stocks (down approx. £15K). GLA, Dan
@NotJohn - I also asked (on the 12/1/23) about this issue re: Chairman's statement . In the same email I also asked about the CLNs with Mill End Captial Ltd (the RNS on Monday covered this point). No reply so far and, with all that is going on, I am not surprised. GLA, Dan
would this be a possibility, a small £10M loan (nothing for a govt and helps keep 400+ local employees in jobs) in exchange for 10000ozs gold (a nice 50% bonus included) over a one year period once 24K oz hit ? Increases their (Kenyan govt.) gold stocks by 310kgs (currently only 20kgs I believe). Security would be the licences they issued. GLA, Dan
@Legalwolf - re: post at 18:33 - I have asked the question regarding the various loans you listed. The initial, Tranche 1, $500K payment was made to Tyacks as per RNS 15/8/22. Hopefully we will get a further RNS to cover these ambiguities. GLA, Dan
@aimofthegame6 - that would be Bunsenburner123. GLA, Dan
RNS in a couple of weeks or less. GLA, Dan
@Legalwolf re: 11:38 post and 'single biggest issue will be dilution' - I believe that as a standard, main market listed company GCAT is only allowed up to a maximum of 20% placing/dilution per year. Has anyone else heard this rule and have I understood it correctly (FCA listing handbook LR 6.8.1)? GLA, Dan
@splatted. and @ZagEgypt- if you go to the creator of the thread 'Bought on rumours' you will find out who it came from. GLA, Dan
@YugoBoss - 1588 x 2204 (lbs in a tonne) = 3,499,952 lbs. Cu average price during 4Q 2022 was approx. $3.6 (using data from IFCM website). $3.6 x 3, 499,952 = $12,599,827. Let's not forget the gold too with 401 ozs at approx. $1750/oz during 4Q 2022 giving $701,750. So about $13,301,577 or $4,433,859 per month.
The issue, I believe, is with the debt situation and having enough left over to service that debt. We know that they do not have enough left over to cover debts with the current financial package. If they could cut costs further, say another $1M per month, and start processing from the high grade areas (3.6% and above to double the 1588 tonnes) they might succeed. Head grade for that quarter was 1.84% Cu, they have reported drill results in areas with much greater grades (e.g. 13m at 5%, incl. 4.6m at 11.4% in the UFZ). GLA, Dan
@ID78 - I believe the target AISC of $1000 - 1100/oz is based on the production of 2000oz/pm. AISC for 500oz/pm would be much higher, economies of scale and all that (same amount of people producing a quarter of the production target is going to cost more). A far chunk of the current AISC will, of course, be from the plant upgrades. Would be nice if they included the cash costs and AISC / oz each quarter as does Shanta (RM mentioned them in the 10/1/23 interview IIRC). GLA, Dan
@asimpleinvestor - I have looked at the Cu price on the ifcm website and get a range of approx. ($/lb) 4.3 - 4.9 for the Q1 2022 period and 3.4-3.8 for the Q4 2022 period. Taking the mid value for each, 4.6 and 3.6, gives a ratio of 0.78. So that makes the Q4 2022 revenue (not profit) lower to 1209000. 341000 less, so approx. 2.9M for the Q4 2022 period or approx. 950000/PM. GLA, Dan
