Noticed yesterday a report that the company is expanding into cruises. That and city break markets show the ambition of the management.

They aren’t just relaxing on the beach!

Initial market reaction seems a bit harsh. Forecasts are in line with market expectations.

May be not so exciting now ReZorce put to one side but company has other more profitable things it’s doing particularly in Vietnamese.

And another set of excellent results with positive outlook and increased main dividend.

Expected some selling after the share price recovery but we are still well off broker suggested levels.

Looks like clean bill of health following independent lawyers and accountants review of unlawful conduct and bonus manipulation.

Quality property portfolio, very high occupancy rate and renewals and central London focus where people are returning to work in offices.

If and when interest rates fall this should get rerated. CEO been there 23 years so Hope succession planning has been sorted with the board.

Reduction in borrowing presumably required by HSBC after the sale of the Staverton units which may have been part security for the lending is what the fund raising seems to be for.

The potential contracts if they go ahead will keep the show on the road but can’t see much talk of exciting times ahead which in the current climate one is seeing with many defence sector stocks.

How much is he costing us?

What are the targets he is being set?

What bonus structure has been agreed?

How much dilution will there be in share options being inevitably issued?

All of these questions are obviously irrelevant if the share cap doubles just because of his appointment.

But on this company’s track record it will then drift back with more promises than actual sales being secured.

Excuse my negativity but long term share holders may share the sentiments.

But just this once it might be different might be!

Due 18 September. Expect some further share price improvement in the next few days as expectations of figures at top end of estimates expected.

Any news on the founder’s share of the business following his demise?

We can expect an update early October.

Can’t see any likelihood of shareholders seeing anything!
