Seriously the market just forgets the quality of some companies and the rerating is well justified.

Steady results and adjusted figures for the year still look good in light of tariff damage.

New products could be exciting.

No news on what is happening with Sir David’s shareholding and I’m still thinking can they use the company cash pile to take some of it back in-house?

Share price looks too low in light of the quality of this company.

As I said in January once interest rates start to fall and finance costs reduce the outlook for Youngs with its quality estate and service standards should be recognised by the market.

Momentum continuing and results look good especially e commerce sales. The shops are situ in good locations too.

This comp could have some legs in a pedestrian retail sector.

Market May have overreacted on the last news about US contracts etc.

Today’s Times highlights the agreement yesterday in London that marine vessels will be fined for poor emission levels.

A good plug for biofuels named as being the likely alternative.

I agree. This type of dynamic change to trading conditions needs to be addressed and the impact explained to shareholders. Are the USA going to charge more on raw materials used in the products we help to manufacture?

Annual reports have reams of stuff about threats to the business and how the directors will deal with them.

Anyone seen in any company annual report reference to the threat of tariffs?!

The stuff ProCook imports from China may become cheaper if it’s not being sold to the USA.

Reduce cost base could translate to healthier margins.

I can see Central Banks reducing interest rates sooner than they might want to in order to avoid recessions despite inflationary impact of tariffs.

Higher yield shares such as PHP with asset backing and secure income streams may now have their day.

To add to the negatives prevailing at present the Bank will be under the cosh again tonight . Reminding us of the Reading HBOS debacle and other issues still not fully resolved. And we still got car loan insurance to be clarified.

Believe the share price got a bit ahead of itself!!

The share price is lower than 5 years ago I believe. There is £230m held in cash.

Margins will improve based on CEO latest statement.

This has always been a cyclical share and trade wars will reduce economic growth ironically.

No announcement regarding what happens to Sir David’s substantial holding. Instead of a share buy back scheme like everyone else is doing as a way to use up cash and booster (generally unsuccessfully)share price why not use the cash to buy some of his holding.

I assume the trade wars and uncertainty over the founder’s shares are what is causing share price to drop to this level.

Any other thoughts?

Someone please tell me why this company or at least its share price is replicating Versarien.

This morning’s briefing needs to acknowledge the board has seriously let down shareholders since it went public.

The products are simple and easy to use and production lines seem able to manufacture them in a cost effective manner.

Others on this shareholder site are far more knowledgable than I but there seems to be some lack of ability to create a profitable environment which would start to enhance shareholder value rather than continually diminish it!

Does this imply some corporate activity likely to happen or giving Peel Hunt a run for their money?

Whilst new customer expansion looks unimpressive the customer retention and increased profit per client reflects well on the relationship teams.

They mention acquisitions and that may be the way to go to get new sales. Hopefully they won’t overpay for this.

Double digit growth predicted. Sounds good to me!

Persistent buying today in a narrow market has given a welcome recovery boost to the share price.

New store opening in a month or so at the new ‘Bicester Village’ style shopping village opening by M5 near Tewkesbury will further promote the brand name.

The new CEO gives an impressive and detailed overview of the company and has a positive strategy going forward.

Despite disappointment with ReZorce he seems to have made the right decision in mothballing it but protecting the patents.

The prediction on future growth looks promising despite the political turmoil and I feel quietly confident in the company.

What happens to the share price is up to others!

Expect some who have made a bit will sell out but I’m finding it hard to give up on this one. The share buy back extension suggests a desire to calm the waters by the board.

Assume the US provisions will be able to be offset against tax bills this year??

No reaction to excellent results and break even imminent.
