My fag packet valuation at 25p is way short. Cantor Fitzgerald issued recommendation this morning with a target of 39p. That will do nicely.

I hope that this share has bottomed, as I bought in at lunchtime today, having sold some Enquest that I bought on the 14th at 23p and sold today at 37p. My feeling is that this share should have dropped today with the anti-fracking sentiment that was discussed on the Today Programme, but it held steady, unlike most other oiles.I think there is a very good chance of a major leap if the well results are positive, and I hope these will be out by the end of Feb, Back of a fag packet calcs make me think impho in terms of 25p within 8 weeks! Hope I'm right, as a dry well will probably mean 5p. GLA.

I don't know what anyone else thinks, apart from the rampers, of course, but it strikes me that there is a concerted effort to pump and dump this share every time an RNS is released. It seems to happen with surprising regularity every two to three weeks, even though the 'news' is just a recycling of stuff that we know already. As a shareholder that bought in over a year ago, I am a little cynical. Does anyone share my view?

I have to hand it to TPET for hyping this prospect so well. The 'documentary interview' and regular RNS boosting interest, when essentially, nothing has changed. This is TPET's 'dog's chance' deal. There are so many Ifs, it must be regarded as a 50 to 1 bet on a horse.

Having pondered this over the weekend, the strategy of reducing the cash reserves does make the Company less vulnerable to an Asset-stripping takeover. I also think it is a precursor to an agreed takeover or MBO. Either way, once announced, we should see an increase of 50% to 100% on the current SP. Any thoughts anyone?

Someone is walking the SP down. Very unusual to pay all drilling and decommissioning costs way up front. Output restricted by Ithaca (operator) to their hedged production level. Trap costs reduced to £1.5 m per annum but figures looking poor prior to a possible paper share swap , probably by Parkmead, based on average share prices.
