Buying opportunity?14 Nov 2019 15:13
It strikes me that the SP drop is a remarkable over-reaction to news that is entirely in line, if not slightly better than the market expected.
The flurry of sells this morning appears to have been robotic, and produced a remarkable drop in the price for the volume involved.
One or two of us took advantage of the opportunity to average down prior to the good news that we can hope for next week.
I for one can only infer that there will be good news, as Paul Baay is going public next Thursday 21st at the Proactive presentation, and if I were him, I would be releasing the good news with an RNS on that morning.
Let's hope that I am right.
Without knowledge of the content of the RNS, it would be speculative as to where the SP will end up. Paul does have a track record of being cautiously conservative in his claims, so I would anticipate that the results from the gas testing will be very positive, and I will therefore stick my neck on the block and speculate that we should see a price rise to north of 20 pence.
It may not get there in one hit, but at these SP levels it is certainly a good speculative play.
As always, this is a personal opinion, and I am not giving any advice, you must do your own research and make your own decision, but I know of a number of investors that share my optimistic opinion.
7 more sleeps then.
