I don't have an account with HL, but the way that they probably work is that you need to 'phone the order in at 7.45 am and ask to be routed through to the dealers.
You will have to specify that you want your order to go into the opening auction, as most of the 'phone traders don't even know what the opening auction period is, they will probably say that the market doesn't open until 8 am.
The Dealers will know better, and are much more helpful, as they know how the market works!
Good luck, it will be the luck of the draw as to who you get on the end of the 'phone, but insist on speaking to the dealers if they are clueless.

Oh how different it will be tonight.
Those of us that are holders and believe in the future of i3e will hardly sleep with the excitement of our Christmas come early tomorrow morning at 8 am.
Pity those that will have a restless night in the anticipation that their open shorts are going to burn them badly in the morning. I dare say that the volume of money to buy in the 7.50 am opening auction will exceed anything in the past few months for shorters to close their open positions.

It would not surprise me if there is a price monitoring extension, or even two at the open tomorrow.
Result of the opening auction? Unlikely to be crazy, probably 22 pence or so, but a great catalyst as we hit the risers board immediately.

It strikes me that BP has looked into this pretty carefully, and with their massive resources probably have all of the information that i3e have also.
On that basis, if it plays out the way that I think it will, there is probably some sort of tacit agreement between the two that BP will step in with the funding.
It is probable that BP have been given access to the Data Room, and have thrown a lot of staff at it.
Once a farm-out is announced, we should be on for multiple bags.

Yep, it will crash to 25 to 30 pence.

According to a well-known market screen er the Broker consensus average target price is 76.67 pence.
I think that this is certainly encouraging, even if you take these figures with a mine full of salt.
Those that subscribed for new shares yesterday at 35 pence would appear to share this view.
All very encouraging and very unusual indeed, imho.
Monday should be very interesting!

Very good news that all the vision and hard work is finally beginning to pay off.
John has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds of his own money and has worked incredibly hard to get the company to this position.
Whatever the future holds, the success is well deserved.

This type of buy is not a day trader imho.

Please note that the RNS states it is EXPECTING to sign this off, it is not a done deal yet.
The fund will have been made an insider and provided with more info.
The 35p represents a discount to real value of circa 20% probably.
We shall see.

Other thing is that this is the only RNS of any significance today, so we will get more attention.

I got bored with reading the RNS of blah blah more shares, dilution and didn't scroll down far enough.
Yep, truly predictable and 5 times worse than last time.
The company has no income and lots of overheads.
The precious little seed corn gets eaten away on a monthly basis in salaries and overheads, with little or no prospect of an income stream.
SP will continue its inexorable decline imho.

Isn't it about time there is a consolidation to reduce the ridiculous 15% spread?
Let's say 1 for 100 consolidation?
Last time in 2015 it was a 1 for 20 consolidation, so it must be due again by now.
That would give a nice high share price to crash down from.
It will also make new investors think that the SP does really well.
Unless they have a brain cell.

An excellent share tip from the Daily Mail, and it appears to have been disregarded by the cynical market.
Understandable in the AIM market, I suppose.
Nevertheless, the share price is holding very firm, in anticipation of the news that is in the offing.
Those of us that have done our homework appear to be resolute in keeping our holdings in the knowledge of the excellent news that should fall in the near future.
I believe that patience will indeed be rewarded on this one, it is only a matter of time, imho.
The Board has lived up to, and indeed exceeded its promises thus far, and I believe will continue to do so.
Patience is a virtue, and I hope and believe that news will drop in the very near future, I am certainly anticipating an SP of 20 pence before Christmas. Let's hope that I am correct, it's the only Christmas present that I can realistically anticipate from the Stock Exchange this year!

Another valid consideration for potential investors is that in the unfortunate event of a Labour raid on oil companies, Touchstone is based in Calgary and produces oil in Trinidad, and I cannot see any possible way for them to impose one-off taxes or to 'redistribute shares for the workers'.

You read it in the Daily Mail, so it MUST be true!
There is very good discussion on this board, with many long-term investors who are highly knowledgeable on Touchstone.
In a nutshell, unlike many AIM stocks, Touchstone is already an oil and gas producer, and is operating at better than break-even.
TXP is drilling four major oil and gas wells at the moment, and has completed the first, which is regarded as being the smallest prospect. The second prospect is currently being drilled, and the results should be out before Christmas.
The results from the first well were so good that the gas flow was off the scale of the equipment that they had available.
The results of the flow will be reissued once they have been evaluated with bigger kit.
Even with the existing kit, they were able to see that this well will double the company's income, and this income will come onstream in the first half of 2020.

The second drill is under way and this drill is targeting a much bigger prospect.
Probably best to let you see the CEO Paul Baay telling us about it, instead.

The potential here is massive, and could increase production many fold, with a corresponding increase in reserves, income and share price (we hope)!

No promises, but the current share price doers not yet reflect the increase in production already discovered, and the fact that it is gas does not attract the usual 25% tax for oil in Trinidad.

Touchstone Exploration shares are going to be sold first thing this morning for only 15.5 pence per share.
Unless of course we get a fabulous RNS, one of two expected by Christmas.
This is your pre-Christmas chance to buy them at a 50% discount to their current real value.
Load up now, as unusually, the more that you buy, the more expensive they will get.

Very quiet dealing day today. Happy to take advantage of it and sneak in a 25,000 buy just before the bell at 15.149p. It's very hard to know when the next news will drop so I think we will drift sideways for a few days but my conviction is that it will be positive and we will get another buying spree towards the late teens and finally crack 20p once the oil drilling results are out. gla.
