It isn't so much a Court decision, as I believe that it is a decision to come from the Oil & Gas Authority (OGA).
The OGA is a law unto itself and my experience of it is that it is not the fastest moving organisation in the world.
It may have indicated a decision timeline, but probably has no requirement to stick to it.
All a bit of an irrelevance imho.
The only potential downside that I can glean from press articles is that future takeovers may be more drawn out if RRE loses its Operator status. Time will tell.

This morning's RNS looks very much like a thinly-disguised profits warning.

What makes this even more farcical is that the buys were £18 million and the sells were £9 million and the SP drops by 15.7%.
I can't quite work this one out, but there must have been some substantial manipulation to make that happen.
Makes a strong bounce even more likely.

My feeling is that we will get a significant bounce on opening - I think that 99% of us would welcome that, and I love to hear the sizzle of burning shorts.

Perhaps this order was filling all day, which would explain the early rise and then push back?
MMS would have had to work hard to fill it.
I can see that an indicator likr this should see a good opening - the MMs can't ignore a trade that size, especially if it is part of a stake build.

BrightSpot, forgive me for asking, but I thought that Tullow is in oil drilling not gold mining.

I have dabbled a bit on TLW after the major drop and came out ahead.
Beer money went into Lekoil this morning and cleared 10% on the day.
I can see that Tullow will do at least that tomorrow, it seems to over-react every time.

That's the point about calling an EGM - all shareholders then have the right to vote.
That's how it works.
I have checked the Mem & Arts file:///C:/Users/ADRIA/Downloads/Lekoil%20-%20Articles%20of%20Association.pdf and on page 23 you will see that it requires 10% of shareholders to call a vote.
A capable new Board with a British representation would make a difference to the credibilty, imho.

You are absolutely correct, but I am in researching mode, which is dangerous.
I can now see quite a lot of potential in this, and I think that a change of Board would have a dramatic effect on the share price.
Once I establish a few things, and make a few more calls, I will decide whether to make a proper investment or not.
I have been through the rigmarole of changing an AIM company Board before, and it is not for the faint hearted.

I have put a call in to Strand Harris to find out whether we can call an EGM in London, or whether it has to be in Lagos.
My feeling is that it is time to dump the Board, probably keeping the two new Directors, and get some new blood in that isn't tarnished.

Nice to see our daily 4% rise is in early today.
Seems to be the pattern recently.
It will be interesting to see what the rest of the day will hold.
Maybe we will see 5% today.
I think that we will keep going until we hit £25 and then maybe a bit of a pause.

I feel very badly for those that have lost large sums on Lekoil as a result of fraud and an incompetent management that failed to spot it.
They say that scammers are the easiest to scam and this looks like an example of it to me.
I can see a dead cat bounce, and to liven up the day I bunged in £500 at 2.47p to follow it for a day or two.
I will cash out when I make £100, and limit sell order is in place.
I think that 3pence is realistic in the next day or two, but maybe that is wishful thinking.
There is some much bigger money coming in now, and I am sure that they are thinking the same way.

As we get another day closer to the RNS on reserves and potential flow rates.
Great to see that Edale has increased its position - probably time for a few smaller funds to come in.
If my other shares weren't doing well I would be piling more in.

I think the market has called the bottom.
A bid for the company must surely be in the offing?
The management is clearly incompetent and that must surely be the best long-term prospect for shareholders?
