DG12; why wouldn't they? Forget the current market cap of EVR; they are a company with, and producing considerable resource. The current malaise has only driven their products price higher, so to stockpile product isn't an issue. To pay there staff at todays rate, which they have the finance/resource to do, whilst stockpiling to sell later at a greater price only reinforces their position. Not a mine will stop. Not an employee will go unpayed.

bobbybingo; i think the demerger, according to the published timeline has already happened. Yes, i acknowledge their should be a EVR RNS confirming such, but the absence of such doesn't indicate otherwise. They are following the timeline they set. Irrespective of current impacts, on the SP's of companies like EVR (Poly, FXP similarly), they are major major companies; their current SP's might not reflect that due to nervousness, but when you see this sort of company, providing a product in demand worldwide, whose annual sales dwarf their market value, the disconnect/fear is clear to see.

I think it has completed, but to answer your question, no because of the UK listed's ability to access/hedge any rouble devaluations, RASP would be better fiscally and reputationally within EVR; personally i was never happy with its splitting, without the ability to hold as a UK shareholder. If the UK didnt have such a blind ESG following investing agenda, i don't think it would ever haver been split

The presentations shows notable and constant drop off of peak production; i don't have a problem with that as long as the continued production covers the cost.

That was what my comment was trying to illicit; what more oily experts than me thought the income to cost ratio/reward was. It looks fantastic on historics, but if the production drops through the floor/ceases, less so.

Get the politics - just want a steer on the economics.

robizm; what list? a list of companies Russell says can't be traded through their indexes, or a recognized list of sanctioned companies. I've just visited a few, RASP isn't listed; Russell consideringing them unlisted, untradeable, of zero value, isn't the same as sanctioned, isn't the same as saying their is no intrinsic value in their business. I am still waiting for a single poster here stating RASP sanctioned to prove such. There is enough here and why, and what if, without people propogating posts that are untrue, based in zero fact. I think it is fine, and respect, that everyone can have an opinion, a standpoint, and being where we are, a financial one. I just don't take lazy crap talking; opinions dressed up as fact that could influence people who lazily believe the crap without checing the reality.

If this SP rises remotely near £1.88 i'll be blowing you all kisses. I'm a very unromantic kind, but be happy to acknowledge i was wrong and you are right; irrespective, this will rise £1,88, maybe not in a day, but over time it will. and Beyond. Maybe to infinity...

A long term holder who has held this longer than a Las Vegas punter holding a dancer's panties. I don't get titillated by the movements, i appreciate the proposition, the value, the fundamentals. To me they last longer than a spurious moment of desire, longer than a dancers knickers, longer than a spin of the Russian Roulette wheel.

Posters intimating RASP sanctioned; it isn't, and if it is rather than scaremongering on such, kindly provide the proof/links that prove such.

There has been an RNS from a data providor on a technical matter that you believe is to happen.
There has been no RNS suggesting RASP split has happened which you are happy to believe.

Why do you believe the latter 2 to be true, but ignore the truth of the first?

This demerger has been about 18 months in the suggesting, 6 months in the progressing. Big companies just don't spin on a day. What makes you think EVR has spun on the spin off? There is not a single piece of evidence of this (although in current climate accept a lot or rationale for reinstituting).

hashtagshares; the demerger HAS gone ahead; and the lack of an RNS suggesting otherwise supports such. Desires of a quick buck on the back of a technical, not company announcement, is wishful thinking between the lines of reality, rather than an understanding, a desire to understand, the reality.

When i see the RNS, i'll gladly apologise for considering posters delusionary.

I can sort of live with deramper/rampers, there is almost an honesty in their dishonesty; i do struggle with those who can't grasp basic things, like what a statement says not what they want it to mean. Take a stance. Buy/sell. Give reasons to support your stance/action whether i or others agree; but at a bare minimum, start with the facts. Start with what is known, what is certain, and make your call on what is unknown/uncertain.

Tomorrow, this will not rise by £1.88 - the absence of an RNS tells you RASP is not coming back.
Tomorrow, this will still make money. In theory devalued by the roubles devaluation, which could actually reduce their production costs (staff) relative to the vast majority of their production being sold into non rouble markets, but whatever the technicalities their product will still be needed, still be sold.
Tommorrow i will still be holding, as i have always done, for the long term. If it was going to be delisted/sanctioned, it would have happened today along with all the others. It wasn't. It won't be.

Fundamentals, profit, money will out. The facts not the theory show that. Follow the facts, follow the fundamentals. Ignore the noise.

Whilst Russian production is undoubtedly the majority engine of this company, at it's current market cap, it's non Russian assets are probably equal par. Your consideration/question, is why i've never sold a share; at worst this is still good.

icecool; RASP has never been listed on LSE - that, pre invasion was very much the cause of contagion on its SP, that EVR shareholders couldn't hold as UK investors, even if, like me, they wanted to; that and the six month before enforced cash equivilant, at an uncertain price at an uncertain time

cookie2906/icecool; the FTSE Russel have had no sanctions imposed; they are just an information/data source; nor have EVR or RASP had any sanctions imposed. The demerger was proposed by EVR pre invasion, in my opinion to make EVR look cleaner to ESG investors, having distanced (separated) the very dirty coal aspects; accordingly they could record miraculous improvements in emissions in year 1, attracting - at worst retaining reducing, shareholdings based on ESG and tracker factors (rather than profits) and at best gaining wider acceptance/investment. The demerger was EVR's doing, nothing to do with the LSE. The statement re £1.88 is a techinical data providors adjustment - not a statement that RASP has not been split off.

Willing to be corrected once i see the EVR RNS, until then, i believe this misconception that RASP is coming home to EVR is ****ing in the wind. And the SP tommorow will reflect that delusionary ****ing in the wind, not £1.88
