Gold grades in perspective.17 Dec 2019 01:26
I've seen it all before, bonanza grades found and nothing of substance elsewhere.
I'm being pragmatic. Sure, there is gold in them thar hills, just as there is copper and silver, but it's way to early to start thinking this is a sure fire winner.
GWMO is more or less on it's knees financially, and nothing has been found of any great substance other than one or two samples. The rest of it is rubbish and there is absolutely nothing at the moment to suggest anything otherwise.
A few old gold mines that were abandoned decades ago are being investigated. The fact they were abandoned should give some clue regarding the potential of what is to be found.
I want this to come good as much as everyone else, but I've not read any RNS that has me thinking this is a winner.
Three years ago, GWMO had potential, and with £3m in the bank, I thought it would come good. It hasn't and they're just clutching at straws at the moment.
I'll be more than happy to be proved wrong, but I'll be amazed if all those abandoned gold mines produce anything other than nothing worth bothering with, and as for the copper, well, the prospects are even worse.
Yeah, it's there, but there isn't enough of it.
