I am no genius but I have been in the markets for over 45 years and had some success and many failures.
One of things I have learnt is to do hard and diligent research sometimes for months on a share before you invest.
The one in a thousand 10 baggers are rare but they do happen .
When I see an opportunity like Kape and Ethernity I look at the management and the Board and obviously the Investors behind them and their debt/equity position.
Debt can be a killer of companies if it reaches high levels where in effect the banks not investors own the the company.
The tech and market opportunity are more difficult to understand but I zoomed in on the Israeli Tech sector and the billions being invested there by US investors and giant tech companies.
Teddy Sagi with a net worth of €4 billion is behind Kape and I started buying at 60p ..now 330p.
It churns out cash and acquires competition and is heading for a £2 billion market cap over the next 2 years in the rapidly expanding cyber security market.
However Ethernity has the greatest potential given its tiny market cap and superb tech.
I am a longterm holder .

As the "Digger" Murdoch used to say when the facts are boring and the rumour is exciting print the rumour!
The Santa Clara tech mafia stick together like sharks on a hunt until one of them gets weak or starts to bleed and then he is devoured.
The old saying about about staying close to your enemies/competition so that it will be easier to bump them off.
Anyway it seems a long time ago since last August when I for one feared Ethernity was going under
The lesson in investing is don't panic if you really believe in the company.
Tracy was a beacon during those nervous times and we will be always in his/ her debt.
Still a long way to go but the road looks a lot straighter now.

Conspiracy theory..
Why did AMD/ Xilinx supply Ethernity with the necessary chips to support Tarana's expansion in a worldwide chip shortage ?
Well AMD and Tarana both have head offices in Santa Clara , and are working together.
Big US tech giants nurture start ups in many ways and it looks like Ethernity has benefitted from the US old boys club.
While Ethernity is not as yet on the stock market /AIM investor radar in the UK backwater , it has the attention of the big tech players in the US.
We as the founding father investors here see the wood from the trees and I reckon the wider market will do so soon.
Our little secret will no longer be hidden imho.

Xilinx was bought out last year by AMD for $35b.
AMD is a $100b semiconductor giant and is on the acquisition trail particularly focussed on 5G technologies.
Ethernity is now in the most exciting tech space and is getting attention worldwide.
It will not not be valued at a paltry / derisory valuation of £28m for much longer imho.

Interesting news on Tarana today and lots of good posts here.
Tarana came out of the blue but we now know how closely Ethernity and Tarana have been working together over the past number of years and how interlinked their respective technologies are.
Also good to see Tarana rising a further c$50 m in funding a few weeks ago bringing total funding to c$300m since start up in 2009 with over $70m coming from the Middle East relatives of one of the founders .
The latest funding round puts a valuation of over $1.5b for Tarana.
The two companies have taken a long time to commercialise their IP but it looks like the breakthrough has been made.
To think that the Tarana relationship could result in recurring and increasing revenues of $10-20 m a year for Ethernity is amazing but may be only a small part of the potential of Ethernity's overall IP with the main courses of 5G , DU and avionics et al still to come.
Not to mention the relationship with Xilinx on the chip supply....intriguing indeed.
Very encouraging all round.

The industry is consolidating at pace and Kape will make at least 1 major acquisition every year until it reaches a market cap of $2 billion .
It is a great strategy and with Sagi backing every move the sky's the limit.
Short term SP target now £4 but could get to £10 within 2 years with a fair wind.
Top class management , low debt and super cash generator based on increasing subscriber numbers and R&D investment.

It has been a super investment over past 18 months up from 80p to 330p.
Top company and management and £4 now a realistic target for SP within 6 months.
Still hold a very sizeable number of shares and not selling just yet

Correction
Lupus patents who are antibody positive with Lupus rather than Autoimminune positive.
Also Market Cap now just £21m

I have 2 million shares and I am not selling at this miniscule Market cap .
The FDA will approve the Phase 3 trial because it doesn't compromise it's final decision on final drug approval.
The FDA is now actively encouraging research and development into Autoimminune diseases so why would it not allow Avion to trial Lupuzor in autoimmume positive Lupus sufferers .
At a ridiculous market cap of just £24m Immupharma is a great risk/ reward with 7 major patents in Peptide technology and Ureka Sarl and its investment in Incanthera with its potential blockbuster cancer suncream product Sol .
Also funded for at least 18 months so better than some of the crazy punts on AIM at the moment.

It was meant as a compliment as your wise and sage advice over past years has demonstrated.
I think we may have some action here over the coming weeks as we near the final denouement on Lupuzor with the FDA decision apparently due by end of June.
All we need how is Eva to set off some fireworks but I doubt you would welcome the return of the Maltese Falcon!

I am being very cautious based on my 4 years experience with Immupharma.
Only a few long-termers left here after the speculators departed a few months ago and the SP has flatlined since.
There appears to be little speculative interest this time around so I do not expect a surge in the SP prior to the FDA decision.
So fingers crossed and ATB.

The silence here is deafening as we approach the critical FDA decision on Lupuzor.
Binary play now ..at least double the SP on approval or trouble for all if negative.
Even Chairman Mao Tse Tim is saying nothing and probably still in his bunker.

I expect some fireworks here over the coming weeks as the countdown to the crucial FDA final meeting with Avion draws near.
A positive result leading to a Phase 3 trial for Lupuzor could double the SP overnight.
I expect good news after a dreadful wall of silence over the past few months.
Still holding 2 million shares for my sins at 18p .
God loves a optimist but still very hopeful at this depressed share price.
The next few weeks will tell a tale.

When I said influence et al I mean in assisting the company in getting a gauge on the shareholder base and the stratifying the levels below 3% .
You are only a long term holder until the SP reaches a level where you personally decide to sell.
In a small company like Ethernity to know that say 10/20 shareholders have c 15%/ 20% of the total shares gives management an amazing insight into the investor base.
Mark is conscious of this and appreciates the longterm support.
It is up to everyone to decide whether to reveal holdings on this forum but it could be very illuminating nonetheless.

It is an interesting suggestion to canvas the faithful here on their respective holdings as I am aware this board is on the management's radar and they are keen to ascertain the strenght and opinions of the long term shareholders and their views particularly if future fund raising is considered to propel growth but only , in my view at an SP north of £1.
Obviously we are not as a group acting as a "concert party" under Stock Exchange rules but we could send out a signal as to the power of this cohort as the company progresses.
It is an extremely unusual situation in a public company and maybe we can be a strong influence and have an important voice in the growth of the company.

Looks like I will drop just below 4% now but no TR1 Form unless I do it out of best practice.
The Ethernity website will still show my holding at 2 million shares.
Still a buyer at under 60p

The RNS today was purely a Regulatory requirement to permit the Directors to deal in the shares and warrants and reaffirming information already in the market regarding funds raised, standard outlook for the year and no market sensitive deals at this moment in time.
It was in effect a meaningless RNS but allowed the Directors to conclude their warrants take up and maintain their holdings without dilution.
Ethernity gave no market sensitive information today so everything is correct and proper.
It is now free to disclose significant corporate transactions in the coming weeks/ months without regulatory issues arising.
Nothing has changed other than the warrants issue is now almost finalised and the Directors still hold a major holding in the company despite raising a large amount of new funding.
That is why Ethernity and management want to be seen to do things correctly while other AIM companies are not so transparent.

Agreed but my take on the billions flooding into the Israeli tech sector is that Ethernity with its IP , patents and Stock Market listing in London allied to its tiny Market Cap is a juicy target for the big players but obviously not at current valuations.
I have no doubt it will be taken out within 18 months at hopefully multiples of the current SP.
Just my thoughts.
