Looks like another thrilling week ahead for Immupharma investors with just £120 worth of trades done this morning.

It is 9 months since Simbec-Orion were appointed to conduct the Lupuzor trials and no updates on progress ( or start date) have been issued by the company.

Not very reassuring for us longterm investors( 10 years in my case) and the paltry SP of 1.7p clearly reflects market scepticism at the moment

2 deals today amounting to £500 in total is pretty sad for a quoted stock even on AIM.

And without being pedantic you are trading your shares in the LSE so the argument is ridiculous.

I have bought and sold Puretech shares over the past 7 years ..no withholding tax on any of my sells.

It cannot happen in normal market transactions otherwise the US Stock Market would collapse.

There is no US Witholding Tax on sale of shares in Puretech in the open market.

The US Witholding Tax was levied on the Tender Offer as it was deemed a distribution to shareholders under US Tax Law and treated as if it was a dividend for tax purposes.

A grave error by management in my view and it should have use the Buyback and Tender funds to make an acquisition of a small Pharma or a suite of drugs from one of the big Pharmas.

The $150 m has been wasted and the SP is not far off 15 year lows again.

A shocker.

So Lanstead has offloaded nearly 50m shares in the past 8 months or so which has depressed the SP but I suppose on the bright side somebody has bought the shares!!

Lanstead down below 10% after offloading another 13m shares.

Immupharma shares have had no chance to move forward while Lanstead were dumping.

However with some good newsflow we can get rid of Lanstead very quickly now after they had nearly 24% of the shares at one stage.

The SP has held up reasonably well considering the continuing selling by Lanstead in an illiquid market and the current market turmoil.

Time for some cheer from Tim and Co.

Last year the Interims were released on the 31st August 2023 so we are approaching the start of a closed period .

Even within a closed period the company must release market sensitive information immediately.

The closed period rules are basically set to prevent insiders from trading in the company's shares during this period but does not prevent the release of important company news.

Read the Stock Exchange rules on Closed Periods where you will find that the 1 month before the release of the Interim results is deemed a Closed Period.

When the SP hit 1.65p bid I was was tempted to add but it bounced quickly which is a good sign.

Looks like our friendly financier, Lanstead, dumping large volumes and tanking the SP.

Nothing from the company to support buying as yet.

Just to confirm I haven't sold a single share and I continue to believe in a good outcome here despite our long wait for some dramatic newsflow.

Not to mention a paltry , miserable market cap of just £7.5m which even by AIM standards is atrocious.

Maybe after 10 years as an investor in Immupharma I need some good news .

The issue I have is despite Tim McCarthy taking over the management of the company a number of years ago and the appointment of Simbec-Orion to conduct a new Lupuzor Phase 3 trial funded by Alora/ Avion and the development of CIPD and other drugs allied to the bonus of the Incanthera investment coming good, the share price has dropped from 7p in July 2022 to 3.5p in July 2023 to 1.85p today.

Momentum in shares as in life is important and Immupharma is going the wrong way.

An update on the Simbec-Orion trial and confirmation that Avion is continuing as funder would change the mood but nothing from the company so far.

Just for clarification I know there has been RNSs over the past 6 months but what investors want to know is whether the Simbec-Orion Lupuzor trial is

underway and Alora/Avion is still committed to funding it.

A simple confirmation of these matters would be hugely welcomed by investors even though any change in the Avion relationship would have to be issued immediately to the market which it obviously hasn't been.

The appointment of Simbec-Orion was made 8 months ago so it is quite reasonable for investors to ask for a progress report.

Agree that Lanstead can control the share price to suit itself and limit its payments to Immupharma particularly when there is little or no trading volume.

All the more reason for the company to support the share price with more frequent newsflow as promised by McCarthy.

Hopefully plenty of good news in the pipeline as no-one wants to see the share price drift further downwards albeit in a traditional quiet period of overall market trading.

It is the job of the company to keep shareholders informed on a regular basis particularly in respect of a pivotal drug trial and the partner that is funding it.

I am one of the very patient here for nearly 10 years and with the SP at near all time lows and no newsflow

from the company, we are entitled to express some concerns as I did earlier in the year when the SP crashed to 1p and the company responded with an update and alleviated the funding worries.
