Interesting opinions on dividends ... I haven't changed my mind
Lets see if anything actually happens ... I doubt it
I was just rattled by the inclusion in the Feb 15th dosument of:
"Should Independent Shareholders not approve the Debt Conversion, funds that would have been available for further development ofthe Group's assets would instead be diverted to repay the Loan and the commencement of dividend payments would be delayed until such time as sufficient distributable reserves were created"
Please someone tell me I'm wrong and why.
I feel the talk of Dividends was just a carrot dangled to make sure the debt swap happened.
How can a capital reduction dividend be done? and don't we need to clear the retained losses before a standard one can be distributed ?
I'm still on strong buy as I think the production numbers and high price will eventually be reflected in the share price
I'm struggling to understand how didvidend from capital is worth doing when the total nominal value of Caspian shares is £56 miliion ... or I've got something wrong ... does anyone out there know ? ... it's making my head hurt
I thought the Transfer of shares to UAE was to give the concert party some head room for the debt swap and open up some options for how the reduction in capital dividend payment is offered ... we will see soon
I think you are right ... the ducks are in alignment
Telling I feel that they rewarded Mr Shin, he must have brought something to the party ... the other 1,000,000 share option presumably for work outside normal duties and not the bar bill.
Something makes me feel some flow news soon ... I wouldn't be able to resist opening up on the first interval at A8 before moving on to the next
What is the betting that the next news is take up of share options (early again) ... then the debt to share swap ... then the appliaction for reduction in capital ... then the dividend from capital at a rate roughly equal to the share to debt swap.
Why worry about the share price ... when you can have your cake and eat it
I had a quick look on companies house and there are just two charges outstanding, Vertom and Bakmura, nothing changed there ... good to know there will be another book out .... my one will end up in a charity shop, on the shelf next to a bourne identity DVD and an old coffee cup !
Not given up on news tomorrow ... yet
Yes tomorrow ... fingers crossed ... I'm thinking of writing a book "How to make money out of Capsian" ... would you think £5 per copy would be fair ? .... It would be the most I think I could give away with it ... Good luck everyone and keep the faith
