Morning Joe, well as I see it, if they pay cash now they would be breaking aim rules ... having that in the proposal doesn't protect them from an incomplete rns ... Maybe they don't care ... but I think it has to be shares

Hi Joe, can you point me at the option for shares or cash detail for the second payment ... I can't see it in the April 2025 rns which I thought was the final deal and doesn't have the cash option in it

Hi Somm .. I don't know enough about it ... but I'm reading up when I can .. as I understand it, the pressure could be much higher in the Triassic and so the oil would make it's way to the surface on its own ... and being hotter, if the pour is high like the Jurassic, it wouldn't be a problem.

I really do think the ws news is good, I know everyone has run out of patience and trust .. but it looks to me that we have a commercial well.

Slower progress than everyone hoped and patience is running thin .... What would really help is timely publication of YE 2025 accounts .... fingers crossed

Hi Somm ... If there's oil further down in the Triassic .. why would they still need pumps etc ?

DM ... from what I've read, the Jurassic will be at about 60c, so cools on the way up to the well head so needs heating to stop it going below 32c .. the Triassic would be 100c ish, so has a better head start

I see good news in today’s rns ... The main goal must be the Triassic and I think we now have a commercially viable fall back with the Jurassic ... isn't it normal if you encounter an oil bearing interval to stop and test it before you go any deeper, as they have done.

The 32 degree pour doesn't seem unusual for the region and the refineries are happy to take it, but it makes it hard to do a proper flow test without heaters especially in the winter .... not something they would have in the back of the van.

If going deeper doesn't hit anything, then we get the equipment and there's a really good chance there is a viable well .. if we hit hotter higher pressure oil, then happy days.

Looks like RNS out in the wrong order to me ... wish I had some spare cash

I don't think changing the name on the licence would be something they would want to do ... it's a PLC and staying a PLC

Normal to start slowly and go quicker in mid section, I'm hoping the average is faster now, but they have to slow down when they hit the sandstone. I think the accounts are held up for maybe a capital reduction and how much of the capitalised deep cost to tidied up on the balance sheet to satisfy the 50/50 deeps deal ... a show of oil would make a start to give confidence that they can keep to their side of the 50 ongoing .. only they know the detail .. all just my best theory with not that much solid to go on .. fingers crossed

We should be hitting the WS Jurassic sandstone any day now .. we don't need a gusher, just some sign of oil and the accounts will be out double quick

It would be very dull if we all agreed... some would think the 50% is important before buying in and signing up to a 50/50 partnership on the deeps ... not sure the 75% level is needed as i dont see a need for a special resolution .. just drill baby drill with our new mates in 2026 .. share the risk and reward 50/50. the market will love the prospect ... I hope for all of us

Hi Somm .. I think they purchased WS with shares purely to get the concert party over the 50% holding line .. hence the very detailed RNS spelling out the holdings .. I also think it’s no coincidence the price was 4p

I wasn't saying it wasn't, just couldn't see anything to say it was .. and was interested to learn why it was a requirement to be signed off by the auditors as I didn't know why it would be

Yes, I saw the statement and maybe got me thinking that it helps nail down the historic share price, so as I see it a reduction in capital maybe free of capital gains tax, maybe even a capital loss for many of those with very large holdings ... I've used the word "maybe" too many times
