That our first 50k trade was a bit tardy this morning!

As an alternative, reasoned argument is usually well received by most.

Well, the Q4 numbers will be interesting. I don't think that there is any doubt that the financials will be excellent even if the production numbers are low. However, there will be a couple of things that need to come into place if there is to be a significant reaction.

The first of these is the production number. This has to show progression. BMN cannot simply state that the capacity has been upgraded to a potential 3750mtv per annum and continue to produce numbers that suggest that we are not even exceeding 3000mtv so I would hope to see something positive here although given that Christmas is in this quarter it is likely the quarter that is most impacted by holidays. I believe that over 750mtv will be sufficient to appease most but personally I would like to see 800mtv (I don't think that we will).

The second is the Vanadium price. Up to now the performance of the company has been improving purely because the Vanadium price has been rising. It is currently in a period of correction and I am sure that there are many out there who look at Vanadium's history and say that is what Vanadium does and that it will retrace from here without looking to see how the dynamics of the market have changed.

If the Vanadium price has finished retracing when the Q4 figures are released and the production numbers show a restoration of growth then it is likely that the market will put two and two together. This will be even more so should the company indicate progress on the growth to 5000mtv.

More evidence that we are currently in a very unclear pricing period. This provides some evidence that the volumes we have seen recently associated with much lower prices are very low indeed which suggests that any significant increase in buying interest would likely turn the market on its head. I do believe that it may well be into the New Year before we get a clearer picture of real pricing in the market. Unless there is widespread flouting of the new rebar standards, stone coal is once again a source for product or there is a new source of material that none of us have heard about, it is difficult to see how the imbalance has been addressed so I believe that prices will resume an upwards trend.

Clearly money takes priority. Which is why the only way in which we are going to avoid global catastrophe is if it actually pays to move to low/zero emissions and hurts financially to not do so.

Excellent news for MCM and the world. After all, the world needs another coal project in its fight against man made global warming.

I confess I am not expecting any news other than an announcement of a dividend policy. But this being BMN, when that will be is anyone's guess even though it was touted as this year. All other price moving pieces of news that are 'pending' are, I suspect, predicated on a third party so out of BMN's hands.

Looking at Vanadium prices from a more classical TA viewpoint, the most recent peak moved significantly away from the uptrend. The trend line suggests support at just below $100/kg for FeV or about $23/lb for V2O5. Note that this is support and doesn't guarantee that it will stop there or even get there. This also only references the uptrend support and doesn't look at the other potential support lines.

Whether we are undervalued or not (and this is a matter of the market to decide), what I wrote is indisputable - Vanadium prices are correcting and this is the backdrop to the current share price activity.

What incredible news have we had recently that would warrant the share price to continue its rapid rise? All prices consolidate and the news lately has not been anything that is going to stoke the fires in the short term. Given this against a backdrop of Vanadium prices correcting and I would say that it is not unexpected to see this period.

Their CTO has been revoked apparently.

My personal pet hates are the incorrect use of grammar or spelling errors. On the whole politically incorrect insults or references of any kind are like water off a duck's back to me. But grammar mstakes! Grrrrrr!! I am learning to soften my view of spelling errors (with the aid of extensive therapy) owing to the wave of horrendous autocorrection currently blighting the world.

Conflicting signals currently. No doubt the price is softening and there is evidence that there was stockpiling in the run up to the new rebar standards but I doubt whether the true picture is this severe or anything like it. The current situation smacks of buyers holding off again at the same time that traders want to decrease their stock. I suspect that volumes are very low. Without doubt there will be a great deal of volatility for the next few months as this plays out.

Well, frankly I am not particularly concerned with whether my posts are unpopular or not. I have found myself over the years disagreeing with most of the world's population so I don't see why this board should be any different! Your contributions are much appreciated Ophidian and I find myself agreeing with you more often than not (perhaps something that should concern you!). My biggest question mark about the deal was always Yellow Dragon. Not sure we will ever know the full details on that.

Sanchez599, Most AIM companies RNS when they have a new presentation! So in that context I would have said these things were very material indeed. I confess I have struggled to see how the award of the US grant inparticular was not considered worthy of an RNS.
