Those sell orders, whilst a decent size, are pretty common place on BMN and are not the ones that we are looking for. It is hardly surprising that significant sells are placed when a share price has risen so dramatically. If you consider that the last placing was less than a year ago at 10.3p, it shows just how tempting the profit taking is.

When I see a multi-million share trade I will start believing that the next leg up is in place. Until then we are going to have our ups and downs. We have seen it before and will see it again.

It is a good point and unclear. I wouldn't get too excited about it but when more serious volumes are processed it would be good to understand the process.

It has to be said that the bulk sample here is a 'best case' scenario is terms of grade as they have very specifically scraped out gold bearing material so there is little waste. A declared resource will be lower grade. That said, the sample grade is excellent, particularly the silver. Considering that silver is likely to outperform gold in the next bull market (and I suspect that most are here in the belief that there will be one in our lifetimes!), the value in the silver as represented by this sample will likely be higher than the gold.

The only wish here is that the ore body was bigger. With an exploration target of 500k tonnes we are not looking at a serious opportunity. It is certainly good news nevertheless and continues to add to the potential future longevity and value of the company.

Whilst I think that the most likely scenario for Lemur is a spin off in the same manner as Afritin, to be honest I would prefer a trade sale even if this returns a low valuation than achieved via a spin off. In that way it can be done and dusted with money in the bank rather than an equity stake. BMN is not an investment trust so should not own assets like one. Personally I would get rid of the Afritin stake as well.

I would also suggest that the likely value achieved for Lemur will be considerably less than $200m in my opinion so anyone expecting a figure close to this is likely to be disappointed.

Well, it looks like there was no problem buying from what I can see so not a shake. You have to suspect that a delayed sell will pop up at some point to give some justification to the drop. Or will it be one of those mystery sells that doesn't turn up only to form part of a huge sell at some point in the future? Strange goings on in BMN world.

I agree with loudspeaker on this. Having watched various indicators for Vanadium prices over the months (good grief - it is years now), Asian Metal changes are only indicative in the short term and should be used as such in my opinion. It should be said that it is very difficult to get a wholly accurate Vanadium price at any point in time so these short term indicators are about the best that can be achieved.

I question again why we need more Vanadium feedstock. We have a great deal of ore available. It is processing capacity that we need more of. I am struggling to see the logic other than the Vanadium connection.

Of course, this presupposes that there are hoards of adoring fans awaiting your every utterance.

I believe that there are some significant vested interests at work in both RGM and RRR to the extent that it is very unlikely that there will be change any time soon. Private investors are easily attracted by the undervalued nature of the assets despite the fact that the executive team have consistently proven their inability to deliver the value associated with these. Until PIs stop funding the circus will continue ad nauseam.

AIM investors fear dilution when in fact what they should fear is dilution for the purposes of working capital. This is something that BMN certainly does not require. On that basis, any dilution, and there is no clear indication that there will be at this point in time (although it has been implied in association with a JSE listing), will be for another purpose. I am sure that I am not the only one in expecting this to be associated with a significant increase in production, either at the Vametco operation or via a brownfield acquisition. Or both.

FeV or V2O5? If it is FeV then I can certainly see that happening this year (even this half year) if what I think can pan out does. If it is V2O5 then I can suggest that we will all be doing very well indeed for a while but you can kiss VRFBs goodbye.

It is purely geopolitical risk Des1967. A large proportion of the investing community will not touch a relatively small Tanzanian gold producer with a barge pole at the moment owing to this factor. Resolve the VAT and everything changes. It is not hard to imagine what an additional $22m would do for the company. Self fund Singida for a start.

This is absolutely the number one issue for Shanta. As long as the government are withholding VAT payments people will be wary of investing. It is a double whammy for the company. Not only do they lose out on the money but the perceived risk of investment is increased. Within 6 months the amount of VAT owed will be getting on for 50% of the market capitalisation!

I don't exp CT the share price to move much until the VAT situation is resolved. If it is then the company should double if the market was being consistent (which it rarely is of course).

I really wish that it had been deliberate! But I only noticed it after I posted. Conjures up images of the Jetsons.

I don't think that the BODs is being punished for hedging. We are just questioning why they have hedged so much when the indication previously has been that they would reduce hedging.

I am not convinced that hydrogen cars will take off, although Japan have invested significantly I believe. It's a shame as I think that hydrogen cars are a pretty good solution but it seems like a VHS v Betamax situation to me (I like these cliched metaphors!)

They have hedged all of their production for the next 6 months so will not benefit from any rise in the gold price during that period. Personally I am not convinced that gold is going to soar in this period. It seems to be struggling at $1300/oz despite all the garbage going on in the world but who knows?
