RichKen, I would suggest that you do not do this. By putting these dates on specific items that are not the official dates you are creating false expectations. You are also providing ammunition to those to whom you may not wish to provide ammunition. Far better to go with BMN's dates and if they come in early then that is great news.

No. 8 - The company has indicated that this will complete by the end of 2019. I do not recall seeing this being revised. Whilst I think that there is some room for optimism that this may come in ahead of schedule, it is surely prudent to go by the company;s guidance. By suggesting months ahead of what the company is putting out is only setting yourself up for disappointment. Plus the fact that, if this starts to be accepted as a deadline, investors will start suggesting it is overdue when it is not.

Despite the RNS this morning indicating more 'great progress', I can't help thinking that the company is in a lot better shape this afternoon than it has been for years purely on the basis of AB leaving. For those of you familiar with JW and Arian Silver, when he was removed the share price did not spike higher purely on the basis that there was literally very little left. I suspect that RGM is not far off that - despite the low market capitalisation the assets are still not that inspiring. At least RRR has its stake in a manganese producer that is generating good profits - if AB were to resign there then perhaps value could be realised. As it is the coal asset would look to be the only realistic hope here for some returns in the short to medium term although keep an eye on the Vanadium asset. Vanadium is likely to come good again this year and it will be interesting to see if there is anything actually there or whether they picked it up because it was bandying the word 'Vanadium' to jump on the bandwagon.

Whilst I agree with you, there have been clearly identifiable times in the past when they could have (arguably should have) released an RNS and have chosen not to. A couple of examples - the BE grant from the USTDA and Brits drill results.

I would also ask how difficult is it to write the quarterly reports for BE and Lemur? I accept that there is production and sales to be accounted for with the Vanadium side but for these the businesses are relatively simple and the progress clear for the quarter. But even the Vanadium side shouldn't be that difficult - if you look at the likes of Centamin they reported Q4 production on January 9th.

It is these things that will move BMN to another level - getting information to the market in a clear and timely fashion. I think if our aspirations are for BMN to be a £1bn company or greater then it will need to be a lot sharper in this area.

We shouldn't be surprised about the lack of news. FM does what he does and communicating that to the market has never been his greatest priority or strength. They are impressively slow at producing quarterly/interim/full year updates though - slower than any other company I follow. I still believe that there is a significant seller offloading and we will only find out who after the event.

It would be good if Q4's production numbers suggest that we are on our way to achieving that level but the evidence, or rather guidance, suggests that we are not yet.

I have just got a quote which indicates 4-5 weeks. That would suggest that all of the shipments in January should be included in the production numbers but none in October.

On that basis you would have to assume that the October deliveries were produced in September and not form part of the Q4 production numbers. It would be nice to get a handle on this. What is the shipping time to Baltimore? I am sure that this has been mentioned in the past.

On the contrary. You most certainly can live in the UK without a car. In fact, in some areas of the country it is a positive burden having a car! My son lives in London and does not own a car nor is it on his agenda to buy one. He goes everywhere on public transport or on foot. Whenever I go into London I always use public transport or walk. In fact, I rarely use the tube as I find anywhere in central London is easily walkable in under an hour.

I believe what you are saying is that outside of the cities you cannot live in the UK without a car. Whilst I would suggest that you probably could, convenience, ease and comfort would suggest that a car was highly desirable in those circumstances.

Whilst trading in shares does lead to bankruptcy (see Wall Street crash for examples) it more often just leads to penury. Traders are somewhat akin to habitual gamblers - they only ever remember the big wins.

I seem to recall a conversation I had with a GM or Ford employee who said they made considerably more money from their leasing side than they did from the cars they sold directly. Delayed purchasing is often a very attractive option.

They can't and the short is effectively frozen. The crucial factor is what happens to the company subsequently. If it re-lists then the shorter will have to buy back on re-list to close it. If the company goes bankrupt then that is the best scenario for the shorter as they never have to buy back.

I love that "Frontera Resources to grow as a private company". Talk about making a virtue out of necessity!

It looks like they just forgot to put the latest batch up to sell so the price responded. Drop back a bit again now on no apparent trades. A funny old game.

That is true but it is endemic in the Vanadium world, particular in Australia where there are tweets all over the place referring to concentrate rather than 'in magnetite'. It makes it quite difficult to communicate as you are not talking about the same thing.

I am not a great fan of the interchangeability of the terms 'in magnetite' and 'concentrate' in Vanadium processing. 'Concentrate' has many possible uses so I prefer the use of the term 'in magnetite' to avoid confusion. It is also noticeable that companies tend to use the one that best suits their particular deposit (unsurprisingly). It would be great if there could be clear standards that enabled deposits to be compared. Unfortunately for many in the industry this would not suit their agendas!
