Indeed. Whilst SOLG had risen quite a bit, the thing that really ignited the fire was involvement by institutions. Firstly Newcrest got involved but that was trumped by somebody (I don't recall who) and then BHP wanted a piece of the action. So once it was clear that there was competition amongst the world's biggest players, the share price continued to rise. However, it has since stagnated as those rises are digested. It needs something significant to get it going again (the resource statement next year may be a catalyst if it is genuinely huge).
In contrast, ARS probably doesn't have a resource quite as big as SOLG and, as such, I don't expect there to be a massive scramble by the majors to get involved. I do, however, expect some interest once the BFS is published as there will, without a doubt, be some entity who will want to fund development in return for a slice of the pie.
