Yes, strange trading but not huge volume. I did notice the price drop, drop, drop in the afternoon and looked for news but there was none obviously. The next news should be the resource statement for Tulkubash. It will be interesting to see whether there is more not said than said considering that this strike length looks to run considerably further than currently drilled and that the sulphide zone parallels the oxide. Considering that we currently have a resource overall of 7m oz gold as a starting point you can only wonder what the end point is.

Sparkyboy1, I don't think that 10m oz is on the agenda here. This statement update is for the oxide resource at Tulkubash which is much the smaller compared to the sulphide resource. That said, we may actually get something interesting around the inferred element. There is no doubt that this is bigger even than the substantial resource currently defined. I am hoping that we will get some visibility of how much bigger.

Agreed regarding the management. This is a team that is obviously focused on progressing the project and I look forward to seeing how it unfolds in 2018.

Chartist2, Your views are somewhat self contradictory. You say ignore the public news and watch the price action on the way up but on the way down you berate the ramping by the company and complain about a drop that was very consistent with TA principles. I have no problem with people using TA for buying/selling shares but when the price falls don't blame anyone for it. It is the market and your TA, if you are comfortable with it, should provide you with reassurance that the probability is on your side.

It is £1m but PJ is participating with £100k. I suspect that I could name all the other participants since they hunt in a (Walsall based) pack!

I have only ever seen one share consolidation result in a rise in share price and that was MARL. Then again, it did coincide with them hitting some quite astonishing gold intercepts at their property. After the consolidation I suspect that there will be a running commentary converting it back to old numbers. Most boards I have seen have done this. I note that CGNR have just managed to raise £1m so I would not be surprised to see something here soon. I can't believe that they have much cash in the bank.

This one is fast becoming a compelling soap opera. Having tried to unseat the board of directors with the implication that they are not fit for purpose, PJ is now taking part in a placing to the tune of £100k! So when did the board suddenly become investible in his eyes? After the recent dramatic overhaul of operations? (nope, I can't see any either).

Well, it looks like PJ has started ramping it so hope for you guys yet for this to spike up. I can't say whether it will stay there as he usually promotes when he has bought in so is really looking for the exit at that point.

If your accusations are based on suggesting that they were expecting the Beutong licence in November (as surely they must be as the other interviews were associated with actual drilling results) then that is pretty light stuff. You need to go around other companies on these boards and have a look at what they do, e.g any company associated with Paul Johnson. I would also point out that I and others have been saying that the licence will come when it comes although it would have been great if it was November. Anyway, you have done your conspiracy theory to death. I think that you are wrong but I also suspect that no amount of debate is going to change your mind.

Chartist2, You are getting carried away other your conspiracy theories again. Your evidence for this is anecdotal and, in my opinion, younare drawing incorrect conclusions. There is nothing suspicious about this move. So people took profits at or near the top. Good for them. Let's face it, somebody had to. The activity has been very normal which you should know but instead you appear to be reacting like a naive investor who has bought higher than they wanted to. Calm down and let it play out. As for the Beutong licence, this has always been out of the company's hands. I tend to agree that they were premature in suggesting it was likely in November. These things are at the whim of Governments who take their own sweet time. As I have said previously, it will come when it comes. To be honest, there is enough to be getting on with as it is and it will be good to have all the drills focused on KSK currently.

Sorry Chartist2, I disagree with your basic premise. I know of plenty of people who buy and sell in reasonably large amounts and there is no indication that institutions have been selling or the accusation that you have made that the company has deliberately ramped this up to let certain sellers out. I also think that you are being condescending if you suggest that small buyers started from 12p. Let's agree to differ on this.

This says a lot. Firstly, these are from a couple of weeks ago and not since this morning's RNS as I said. Secondly, the fact that you think these trades are institutional when these are the sorts of trades that many private investors will carry out. Thirdly, one of these trades is a duplicate!

But we won't find that out until January, so perhaps a mid-January present rather than a Christmas present!

DogTyred, If you look at the published trades since the RNS, these are individual PIs rather than a single faceless entity. Clearly some are waiting for strength to sell into as they are concerned about the fall from 12p. That is understandable. Each investor has different criteria in terms of exit points, tolerable losses and timescales. This is what makes a market. I would not read too much into it otherwise it tends to do your head in!

Well, that is the point Chartist2. The comments that you are making are those that I associate with a small trader who has bought on a spike and is kicking himself for having got sucked in. A TA does not do that if they are just following the price action. I have no problem with charts as they give increased probabilities of successful entry points (I am yet to find one who consistently trades well though which is hardly surprising if you understand the nature of probability) but there is little purpose about moaning about the price action if the charts have indicated that this is indeed a possibility and I would suggest that this was pretty clear here. However, the charts should also be indicating that there is a reasonable probability of the recent highs being exceeded at some point. The fundamentals suggest so. The people involved here are real miners unlike a lot of other companies on AIM. So I would suggest that there is a good opportunity to make money on this if you time frame is suitably aligned.

I seem to recall posting that the metallurgy results when they come would be unlikely to move the price as the affects are long term. These results, whilst broadly in line with expectations in terms of recovery, are very positive in terms of acid consumption which is going to have a positive affect on the bottom line economics of the BFS. Still looking for potentially one more item of news this year (namely drill results from BKW) but I wouldn't be surprised if this was now early next year. Not expecting results from BKZ this year but would be a welcome surprise if they do!
