As previously announced, the flow rate is restricted by the accumulation of sand in the horizontal portion of the well bore also slows down well cleanup. This is not uncommon in long horizontal wells that have been treated with multi stage fracture stimulations. With the correct equipment, removing the sand and cleaning the well is a simple operation which is currently planned for January. The sand blockage in the well bore was identified early in the production test, however no winterized workover rig was available which prohibited the removal of the tubing and a proper clean out at that time. Instead, a coiled tubing unit ("CTU") was used to conduct a through-tubing cleanout, but was unable to reach the full well depth and hence was partially successful with more than 1,000 ft remaining blocked and untouched by the CTU clean out. A rig is available in January to clean out the entire well bore and is expected to open the entirety of the lateral allowing the full potential of the well to be revealed and at the same time accelerating the clean up phase.

Pantheon confirms that the Nordic Calista #2 rig is scheduled to mobilize to the Alkaid #2 location tomorrow.
Once on location it will set up prior to pulling the tubing and packer from the wellbore and commencing the cleanout of the sand blockage.

Operations for the cleanout are estimated to take approximately 10 days and the rig will remain on location all this time > in case required further<.

I am not sure what the roll of the rig could be after removing the tubing?
Is it removing and replacing tubing ???

These builders look to be doing an excellent job for the owner, just they seem to walk over anybody not keeping an eye on them.. I wondered why they were so quiet, sneaking up a fortification before I noticed..
To gain better access they took a wall of mine down too, claimed they did'nt realise, said they would put it back..
Just dont bother checking....

@Gogs, we now know they could'nt export the rig because of the court order, but its seems they were aware there could be difficulties as mentioned the audit would ensure everything was in order there, then dressed it up as needing to chase signatures, saying they would get a team on the ground to expedite....

So that was pure fiction, unless they were bribing the judge...

This evening I went to the garden and found I have a new fence, and I cant reach the top for most of it, I just hope they did'nt get planning permission, its like Alcatraz.. They have terraced their garden and run the fence at the new height..

When I first moved in many of the neigbours gardens had low walls, and some gates between, my garden was the middle of 5, all of which you could walk between, all able to keep an eye out for garden thieves, and share the odd cup of tea or beer..just often enough to be social..

Now people move in and hide in their exclusion zones..
It took a long time before the previous neighbour said more than hello

That was late afternoon
After my PRD top up which ended up eating my profits as the price lowered, I thought I would wait on the rig..

He1, I managed to sell my top up, waited until 5 seconds after the bell, and got yesterdays closing sell price.
Once it settled I considered buying back, and noticed plenty of buys of similar sizes to the early sells...
We were all probably thinking the same, great new CEO, whats the market thinking, sell just in case

As strong finish on 88e, plenty of NT this afternoon, and I could not get those low live prices, so probably sells.
If the rig is announced tomorrow I will wish I added, but if not a buy would eat into my profit as it falls

Plenty of demand too, tight spread, some sells above mid..
Had NT to buy numerous times late afternoon above 600,000..
Will do well when the rig is on its way

@KevR, don't go panicking the guys on the 88e BB, or tempting some to reply, adding with delay and rig failure, unless you are looking to buy..
MM has sells marked as buys, mind you I briefly had NT to sell, add to that they are taking at above mid, there is demand..

Thats a massive dividend, and it looks like you did well out the rise..

Did'nt think of Russia having sanctions too, so tit for tat..
I sold my BP because of the initial impact and never bought back, which means I missed out on a nice rise, and good dividends..
Just hope I use those funds wisely :)
