Watched a report only last night... A woman from Leeds, white, probably English, according to the authorities told a Romanian Vigil to "Go Home", she was locked up for causing offence... Going green is going to cost so the money needs to come from somewhere... Gov offering grants to insulate homes in advance of installing heat pump heating, again with grants, probably costs 4x a combi... Next year car mobility is going all electric, so another big increase in green spending.. A friend of mine will be due a 7 seater EV...

But you have that new ruling, where new planning for producers requires scope 3 GHG to be evaluated, so already seeing planning quashed..

Its quiet worrying they have raised £40bn extra through taxes and borrowed another £70bn, and are also looking to tap pension funds,, The tax doesn't need to be paid back but that loan does, and the pensions need a return plus protection, and we all know markets crash, and investment can turn bad, or just go nowhere.

It beats me how any of these complaints get addressed, as today companies just ignore you until you go away..

My broker sent me some guys email, so I asked them to confirm that my details were not being used in his account, a fair question imo.. They, just said it was a rare occurrence and some training was in hand, and that was the end of that, no further discussion was possible.. So I reported it to ombudsman, who also gave up.. what a joke

There used to be a charge using your debit card at the supermarket, M&S would include the fee on your bill.. My friend is a M&S fan I will ask if they still do..

These days you pay the same cash or card , whether that fee still exists I don't know

At one time Amex took a good slice, while giving some back to the user. great when its a company card :) the company I worked got rid of Amex because they took so much

That would be ironic if suddenly those no fee law firms starting getting fined for commissions customer did'nt expect..

Years ago my nephew came off his motor bike after having it serviced, local garage said brakes were biting, so he went to a no fee company, it was not long before they were pushing him into services, to build the case, medical examinations etc.. requiring payment, and they got real pushy.. luckily my uncle has spent his life in insurance and he put an end to it..

Years later my car got hit while parked, anyway the insurance paid out, but they guilty parties insurance played hardball.. Sometime after I started getting letters, heading missing insurance company name, wanting to chase this person, but in the small print there was some garbage about me paying costs,.. I ignored them and they kept coming, so again my uncle put an end to that.. Turns out the unnamed company was linked to my insurance !
