I doubt PC have the capacity to store Mikes 300 bopd for an extended period, as it's extra to their own production. So if they can't get the export papers I guess they will have to sell to PC who have an export licence.

EOG, they have been flaring their gas for years, the rate limited by regulations, pollution.. been using it as an excuse suggesting that limits oil output.. lots of talk about increasing production by using the gas or selling it, but now its seems to be naturally declining, so I guess they were dragging their feet knowingly.. but what a waste, and all the unnecessary pollution, its wrong how oilers can pollute for profit

If methane could be flared, and or used to produce power for the site, using a gas generator if small amount

A recent presentation suggested a rate of 300 bopd was the goal...

The gas, they did'nt say what it was, if it had any value, or if was a pollution issue, or how much is being produced, only that they were concerned it could damage the well..

The later, well they are producing it, and I would assume choking back increases pressure as you are restricting the flow to produce a sustained rate, so is it a red heron ;)

So the courts are messing within area's they don't understand based on expert views biased either way. And if the best argument is over the judges head, it might be rejected

Thats interesting as the courts have ruled councils that grant planning for hydrocarbon producers must consider green houses gases( scope 3 GHG), thats from the well to the burner.

Now burning is where Co2 is produced, at multiplies per tonne of the liquid.. So the figures are going to be huge, and at the higher the production levels, maybe huge will incomprehensible..The ruling, just being they must be considered.. So what's the guidelines to for refusing or granting planning.. End of the day refusing won't reduce the Co2 as fuel will simply be imported to meet demand..

So the ruling makes no sense, and if you extended the ruling to fuel importers then there would be problems..
