"In accordance with paragraph 3A of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, Crowe U.K. LLP has stated in its notification to the Company that they have resigned having carried out a reassessment of the risks related to auditing the Company and concluding that they were not willing to continue to act as auditors."

So looks like Syme may have trouble finding another...

Looks like GBP recently said they did'nt need to raise, but did while people were anticipating the completion of a Namibia JV which has also had the target date moved ....

With the retailer offer £250k conditional on the placing, and that on the shares being list 16th Jan there is a probability the price is going to going sideways or even lower rather than up for a few days, plus its up 250% off the low..

The Retail Offer is expected to close by 4p.m. on 10th January 2025,

I guess debt and its cost could be behind some of these oilers that have declined as production has increased..

Plus that forever windfall tax..

NAV is the most common valuation I have come across for oilers which is given,

PANR , if I recall correctly got close to a $1bn MC , near 150p share then moved to 10p, then multi-bagged again, then dropped to 15p only to double today.... Following one share can be rewarding if you get it right..

PANR, I could have doubled my money on this drill if I bought back at 24p for the results, after selling at 27p... now 30p Mmmmmm

I though the Namibia JV had fallen through on which the price traded above 3p,...

But they had raised for the Juno mining project...

So has that Namibia JV not happened as that is a substantial raise for the mining project..Could we see another bounce over 3p for that JV, thats about 40%

Unusual trades, both 287,012, almost 20 min apart, so maybe not a roll over, price also dropped..

Reading the comments on shorting, and murky stuff,..... well I just popped back on GEX...

There was a new poster, Globalinvestor posting 1 line baseless ramps today, it seems all his posts have been deleted.. For me that balanced the trolling a little, who seem free to repeat the same lines numerous times a day without any deletions,..then add the nonsense name calling and acquisitions that drown out the few worth while posts his were equally as important ;)

Seems there maybe disruptors and ramper police supporting the trolls....

Although we owe him for setting this group up, I doubt he will post here anymore, but you never know

Mmmmm, was up almost 100% when I looked, with FID due mid 2025, financing to sort and Italy contesting the awarded compensation .. so I probably thought a bit early, then totally forgot even though I had this open in a tab..

An independent report confirms that the field’s first 312 MMbbls (on a 2C basis) has a gross NPV 10 of over $4bn on a pre-tax, post-Falkland Islands Government (FIG) royalty at $77 Brent. The life of field cash breakeven is currently estimated to be $25/bbl making the project financially attractive at a range of commodity prices. RKH and Navitas are currently working to secure a financing package for the opening phase of the Sea Lion Project as they move towards a FID.

Navitas published an updated independent resource report for the North Falkland Basin last month. Gross 2C recoverable oil resources have increased from 791 MMbbls to 917 MMbbls, and 2.1 TCF of 2C recoverable gas resources has been certified.

Navitas also reported that the FIG has requested no further public consultation on the EIS. The FID is now scheduled for mid 2025 and first oil for Q4 2027. The development concept envisages three phases delivering 532 MMbbls. Phase 1 and 2 production would peak at 55,000 bbls/day, increasing up to 120,000 bbls/day once all three phases have been developed.

Maybe the rise put me off, as Tro has turned me into a bit of a bottom feeder..

No, there are so many shares, I started looking into it, then got distracted or decided to wait on a dip ..My memory is shocking so I can't even recall what I read or even posted here, or what price it was when I looked.. If I was waiting on a dip looks like I missed it as it has almost doubled..

Shorts, interesting as GEX, although much like an AIM share is listed on the main market. So I guess is easier to short for the PI although I have not checked.. It has the constant attention of trolls. At the moment Santa is there all day, before Magnacarta.
