Hey, I've been in their stores quite a few times, generally busy and pleasant places to be, found what I wanted easily and at a good price. I personally don't hold any shares at the moment but it's one of much favourite companies based on their free cash flow, wish I hadn't sold out in their mini flash crash, few months back, got spooked as have limited capital, but nonetheless foolish me

I don't know how things work but if simpson and Millar was 100‰ owned by fairpoint does that not make us shareholders 100‰ own of simpson and Millar, it was just a couple of years ago that they paid something like 50million for? Or are they keeping that asset and just dumping the shareholders?

As I learn more about this company the more I think I'm going to sell up tomorrow, can anyone provide relatively inexperienced me, a reason to hold this company, cash flow statement on third firm rings many warning bells to me

Just been looking at this business mulder, hmm ticks a ton of boxes for me, can't quite think who would take them over though, they are massive and successful in their own right,

Mkt cap now less than the cash on the balance sheet, not much consolation for those nursing further losses but perhaps chance to average down

True, just noted your post and the director buys, I noted he bought double what he kept, 155k kept 155k shares sold, the other director exercised his options and sold all of the June batch, not such good form. I would like to buy a holding but trouble is I don't want to own any shares at the moment, not at least for a few years

Spent wee bit time at the weekend looking at theirs accounts again, only thing not to like debt bit higher than ideal, 400m buying good cash flow, I'll need adjustments to myself stop-loss as sp just 0.2p above it, don't want lose them quite yet

On the monthly chart the rsi was 3 earlier today, who expects a 3% bounce tomorrow?

I think this is due to shorters, increased short positions. Only silver lining is if you like the stock, it was on sale today with a further 8% discount. They only stocks with low pe these days appear to be our domestic one, think this is pretty defensive though
