Interesting of course but who do you think is getting the better deal out of it? Might be worth reviewing the listed companies who buy hmso assets, if any listed companies buy... Not knocking hammerson but it's the buyer who'll get the improved rental yield and possible asset appreciation, while hmso takes another haircut, albeit stabilises....

You could graze 3 sheep, gross production and revenue 5 lambs times 80 £/HD about £400..., net profit maybe £40 Thankfully we're not talking agric uses haha....

That's tough Wbanker, but you can't bank on seeing 20p again, absolutely no guarantee. If I didn't like the share I'd sell the lot. If I liked the share I'd keep em. If the share goes down much more I'll likely be buying more as I'm uneducated opinion they are worth 42p or more, and they are likely get there if that's the case, dyor of course but good luck

I'm not happy to think of folk that paid 42p for these... What was Morgan Stanley last purchase price? That might be support... Ps don't forget the div, for those that can get the scrip div.

I agree Gusto the fundamentals didn't change greatly this week, don't know what the brokers and mm were playing at.... But the recovery likely to continue, we may sit in the thirties for a few weeks then push off higher, if these are worth 42 or 52 or 62, eventually the sp will get there despite all the market gyrations along the way, gla

M001a Indeed the volatility is quite something at the moment, picking up. I guess although hard to do, buying into a stock near all time highs can be a way to get into a stock that's going places, but sizing in and keeping some powder dry is essential to limit losses if it goes wrong way and average down. I've never been good at buying a rising share, but no doubt momentum and reversion work, good luck

I can only imagine there are some slightly unhappy folk who bought on Wednesday, it's a strange game investing /trading. We've all been on the losing time at times but makes you think....

I'm fully aware this could head back down to the twenties but the fundamentals have not changed, still believe this is worth 42p as it hit this week, its a long term recovery play, play it how you will. I personally decided not to take my profits and I'm sure I'll see 42p again
