We need the US to confirm the opening date for international travel to fully open up. As we get closer SP will start to rise and pop over 200 once that date is confirmed. I would say in time for Thanks Giving is my guess. Then, once we actually get to that date boooom!! SP will proper take off. The question I have in the back of my mind, given BA retired their 31 747s, if demand picks up ahead of expectation, I'm assuming the remaining A380s may get a call back alot sooner and perhaps even operate on the LHR-JFK route. Exciting few weeks ahead GL All!!

It doesn't suprise me a deal can be done with LGW. It was accept lower terms or possibly a competitor come in. Good news for IAG and keep slot portfolio at LGW. A further tick up in SP hopefully!

I would be surprised if we don't head up past 200.

With all the good news should be a strong opening this week. Hopefully straight past 200!! Glad I've held too as this will be one of the darlings on the FTSE 100 as rise quickly from now on, GL All exciting times ahead!!

Agreed a great platform to launch upwards and in a few years time will easily be double current SP.

Assuming no new curve balls my target is 250 by end of 2021. It may or may not get there but with more people returning to the office, more countries opening up and people wanting to meet in person again, the SP is going mostly one way now and that's heading North. Good luck to all here although sometimes some annoying debate, there is also much good debate and challenges and I genuinely wish all here well with their trading. Have a good weekend all!!

Getting close to 190!!

I read somewhere that when SYD does restart, it's going to be serviced by 787-9s instead of the 777-300s.

Exactly what I've done, averaged down to 171. Will be much happier when we're north of 200. Hopefully not too long!!

I think every day we get closer to the US opening up fully should test 185, once past this next stop 200. I've said 250 by end of 2021, we shall see how we get on. GL All!!

My thoughts I think I said yesterday towards 250 by end of this year and towards £3 by next summer. Still along way to go but with the rise today, investors can see there is massive appetite for investing here. Hopefully now a slow and sustained rise in the next few weeks so we can end the year in a great position for 2022! GL All!!

I'm assuming we will wrap up air europa before year end, so question remains what happens with the Gatwick slots. I wouldn't bet against a tie up with Easyjet. We wait and see!!

No one knows for sure the timescales when certain prices will be reached but I reckon demand for US will be huge, leading to good up tick in shareprice. I would say towards 225 - 250 mark by Christmas, assuming no more lockdowns or other curve balls. As for next year, it all depends on demand but by summer, I would concur around £3. IAG took the opportunity to seriously restructure during the pandemic, this will start to pay dividend in a much leaner operation and therefore potential to make lots of money. I remain confident this stock will do very well and although I averaged down to 171, sorry I didnt buy more on recent lows. Long term hold for me, so remain confident of at the minimum doubling if not trippling current SP. GL All!!

The big news items announced and flying increasing all good news. Could see 15%+ rise tomorrow. Glad I'm invested, a quality company. GL All!!

Sorry should of made clear my option 2 would be for IAG to either acquire Easyjet or some sort of tie up.

I was thinking the RI initially not a great idea, but it was Stephen Hester whom has been brought was backing it. He's renowned as a turnaround specialist. So how I see this possibly playing out, one option to acquire the slots off BA and expand, but I personally think a tie up with IAG on the cards. The RI shores up funds and provides the funding to take over slots, more aircraft etc. The CEO of easyjet didn't say he was against a takeover of Easyjet, it was more to the point that the WIZZ offer was opportunist and didn't reflect the true value of the company. I guess watch this space, I just can't see IAG selling off valuable LGW slots, far better to acquire a key competitor with a very established and well known brand, flying similar aircraft. We will see how it plays out, but I think option two is a very distinct possibility, we shall see.

As the airline industry picks up with more and more flying. RR will do well as its the maintenance contracts for the engines that brings in a large amount of cash. This company will do very well in my opinion, I just wish I had more funds to top up now. Long term hold for me, with average of 85p, I'm happy to be invested here. GL All!!
