No one asked why I didn't post yesterday. I guess my views don't countr for much and why should they when my average here is at least double the current SP. But to illustrate the thoughts behind my previous post it was mainly because we were busy with tennis, and then had to do a big shop at Lidl as we had a 10% off voucher that was about to expire.

I imagine most people on here turn up when they aren't doing something better or more important which is a fairly low threshold.

How is it that people expect their 'learned' pronouncements on this BB regarding AVCT to be taken seriously when they display so little common sense even on something as simple as why someone hasn't posted today?

Is it really more than two years ago?

Guys, guys, I’m literally shaking as I type this, no, not because our Nutella’s application to The Prince's Trust for a grant to set up an XL Bully breeding programme has been cruelly rejected for the umpteenth time (she’s now having to flog a % of a small Marihuana factory she’s carefully cultivated since she was 9 to raise funds) I’m shaking because it seems all the while we assumed Sir Al’s poker face belied a clever boffin going about the business of flogging game changing cancer treatments, it was in fact the sh+t scared look of a man who didn’t have the first idea what he was doing and was afraid of being found out.

Well, he now needs to front up and spell out (without flannel !) the whys and wherefores of his decision making and restore some trust and confidence. Or step aside.

And it’s no good berating McNulty, Timster, PL, or any other Avactarian – we all seem to have been taken for mugs, all with the odd exception

Aye, pains me to say this but Wyndrum looks like the cat that got the cream and it's churlish to deny it. But it can all change and change overnight. And that’s why all the cash I set aside for the kid’s easter eggs, nail extensions, and wacky-baccy, I’ve used to bring down my average to a respectable £1.97.

Whatever they agree to (in writing, to get on the study) they could always change their mind, unless the doctors could kidnap and drug and take a biopsy anyway. Optional would have to be the default position I'd assume with any drug trial. Hopefully patients would agree but who knows..

Absolutely ICE, and these Director buys indicate it's not 'closed period' so no imminent data on faridox that we don't already know about, defo no big deal / JV / license to be announced for quite a while. And that's all good since the golden goose in then kept safe for shareholders. The theory looks sound and let's hope it comes good for us :-)

Are we really being told that it's still a mystery to them? To avoid insider accusations OR 'cos they really don't know?

You're probably right Chris in many respects but buying stock in 'one's own' company also a signals confidence when an exec buys shares. On this very BB yesterday people wrote that they support the sp to support the company even if they buy their shares from the bloke next door rather than in a raise. CC has been scrupulous in not looking like benefitting from inside info but she can afford to be. AS (and his family house) is ancient history now but what repercussions did he face and the same regulatory regime exists now. I'm in companies where nothing gets done when quite outrageous things happen with buys / sells and subsequent news.
